A Cancer's Embrace

Amina Anderson, a true Cancer at heart, can’t seem to get it right, whether it involves her job or her love life. After losing her mother to cancer, Amina buried herself in work, hoping to fill the hurtful void of no longer having her mother.

When Gloria, a longtime patient of Amina returns after doctors are seeing signs of cancer again, Amina unexpectedly meets Gloria’s son, Jabari. Jabari is a Capricorn man that is juggling life as a single dad and trying to open his new restaurant. Jabari has heard a lot about Amina because of his mother, but the day he laid eyes on her, he didn’t expect the hype to live up to its name.

Jabari is instantly pulled in by what he calls the “Cancer spell.” With Amina’s emotional walls and unhealed wounds, he has his work cut out for him. But Jabari is still willing to be there for her. Amina, however, isn’t ready to let him into her world.
Jabari is determined. He’s ready to fight for her, and beside her. Can Amina get out of her own head long enough to see that she is worthy of healing, happiness, success, and love? Is she willing to let Jabari in her embrace?
