“What did Simon say?” Jonah leaned in and kissed his cheek.

“Simon was calling to give me a heads up that the moms have been talking and hired a matchmaker.” He took another long breath, fighting to stay calm. His frustration was understandable, but I wished his family wouldn’t do this to him to begin with. “Evidently, my lack of dating has caused them to think that something might be wrong with me physically.”

That was just…

“Don’t they realize that some people are private? What if you were an alpha who just couldn’t find the right omega, so you kept your life private because dating is so hard?” Jonah sighed and seemed to squeeze his hand because Graham smiled.

“You’d think they’d figure out other ideas rather than leaping to something like that, but evidently not.” G shrugged and I could tell that he was trying to force his body to relax. “I’m going to have to address this or I’m going to get a matchmaker showing up at my door.”

Jonah giggled. “Or a very confused omega.”

“Shit.” G groaned. “That’s all I need.”

Still smiling, Jonah leaned in and kissed him gently. “Don’t worry. I can be more of a handful if you think you have too much time on your hands and could use another omega. I’ve seen drama and high maintenance from the very best, so I can keep you occupied.”

Laughing, I tightened my hold on Jonah and pulled him onto my lap. “No drama. We love you just the way you are, and we don’t need to see what lessons you learned from Austin or Bradley.”

“Bradley, huh?” Then his eyes widened. “You love me?”

He was so cute.

“Bradley because he’s clearly the most insane of the group. And yes.” I pecked his lips and brushed my thumb down his cheek. “We love you so much it’s like the world stopped the minute I saw you and time hasn’t caught up yet. You’ve made our family complete.”

G snorted. “We love him? Way to steal my thunder. I can say it myself.”

Jonah was caught between giggling and thinking we were insane.

As he tried to keep from laughing, I turned to Graham, rolling my eyes. “You needed a push. You always need a push. If we did everything on your timeline, we’d still be discussing the idea of me putting my finger up your butt. And see how well that went? Don’t question me.”

Jonah was laughing so hard he was nearly on the floor. Even with a tight grip, he was starting to slip, but G was making it hard to focus.

“You stuck your finger up my ass during a blow job. You’d only mentioned it in passing a few times. I had a right to be surprised.”

He was such a drama queen.

“We’d been talking about it for months. And surprised means you jump up in fright. Surprised does not mean coming like a freight train blasted through you. That’s awestruck pleasure that I gave you, G, not surprise.” He’d come so fast I’d almost drowned.

Jonah tumbled right off onto the floor.

“Shit. You made me drop our omega.” Shooting G a dirty look, I tried to scoop Jonah back up, but he was still a boneless mass of giggles.

I was surrounded by insanity.

“You broke him.” G didn’t agree with my assessment of the situation. He slugged my arm and tried to pick up Jonah, but the wiggly boy was still too hard to grab.

“You were the one talking about sticking fingers up my ass and telling him I loved him too. That’s not romantic at all.” G’s accusations didn’t help Jonah get control.

“If he laughs so hard he pees on the floor, you have to clean that shit up.” I was open to kinks, but that kind of thing belonged in the bathroom.

Jonah was now doubled over, having a hard time breathing.

“You really did break him.”

Graham snorted. “You were the one talking about fingers up my ass. You did this. I’d have picked a more romantic way to tell him I loved him.”

“What’s more romantic than heartfelt and spontaneous?” He was such an over-planner.

“Anything is more romantic than talking about fingers in my ass at the same time.”
