Olivia: I slept decent for once.
Miles: I’m happy to hear that. I just wanted to double check the time that you need to be at work tomorrow.
Miles: I can come pick you up and take you in.
Olivia: Oh! No need to do that. Rae works tomorrow, as well. So Emmett and her are going to come and get me.
Miles: Okay, Little one. You get off at seven right?
Olivia: Yes, Sir!
Miles: Sir is okay for now, but eventually I hope you will call me Daddy.
Olivia blushed at his text. This man was almost too good to be true. It was stupid for her to hope that she would one day get to call him Daddy, but that didn’t stop her heart from longing.
Miles: I will be there tomorrow at seven to pick you up. Don’t come out of the building until I let you know that I am there.
Olivia: And if I do? Whatcha going to do?
Miles: Test that limit and find out, Little girl. You don’t want to push Daddy on a health and safety direction.
She didn’t miss that he called himself Daddy. This isn’t the first time and she can’t deny that she didn’t love the sound of it.
Olivia: I think I’ll hold off on that for now.
Olivia: I’ll see you tomorrow Miles.
As much as Olivia wanted to test the limits that he has set for her she is also scared of what would happen. It’s not like her to want to break rules.
Broken rules meant a dangerous lesson when she was still with David. Though Olivia doesn’t think that the lesson she would learn with Miles would be anything in comparison to what David put her through.
They weren’t the same man and she didn’t for a second believe that Miles would hurt her the way David had.
Clearing her head, Olivia decided to lay back in bed and read a little bit before getting up for the day.
As she opened up her book, another text came through. She smiled until she saw who it was from.
Unknown: Run run as fast as you can. You can’t lose me, I’m the boogie man. I’m coming for you, Cassidy.
With shaking hands, Olivia closed out the messages. It had to be him, but how had he gotten her number?
“Nibbles, I’m scared. I don’t know how he found my number.”
“I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
“No no no. I can’t go to the police. I don’t know who I could trust.”
There had to be something that she could do. She knew that going to the police was out of the question. Olivia would never know the reach that David had and she didn’t want to risk it.
“I just need something to take my mind off things, but what can I do?”
“No, Nibbles. I can’t call him. He’s at work and doesn’t need to be bothered by me.”
“Oooo, that’s a good idea. I’ll text Rae and see if she wants to get together. Maybe we can convince Emmett to have a sleepover tonight. I don’t really want to be alone right now.”
Grabbing her phone again, Olivia pulled up her texts.
Olivia: RAE!! I HAVE AN IMPORTANT QUESTION TO ASK YOU!
