Nobody touched her.

She was his.

Mine!

The green in his veins turned black, as a haze dropped over him and his fist flew forward punching the guy.

The fucker’s head snapped back, blood gushing out of his nose. Winter’s quiet gasp sounded like a thundering boom in his head, as the guy toppled backward landing on his ass on the ground.

Right where the fucker belonged.

“Fuck! My nose!” the guy whined, his hands over his face, blood seeping out over his fingers.

He felt Winter’s fingers on his belt clench, as he reached back and pried them loose, letting her hands drop, as he walked to where the guy was whining curled up into a little ball.

He knelt next to the guy, his eyes widening, fear filling them.

He had spent too many hours torturing the depraved to be scared by some little boy playing at being a man.

He could see the fear.

He could feel it.

“You shouldn’t touch what isn’t yours,” he snarled.

Then the air sounded with a siren.

Fuck!

He stepped back, his head turning looking for Winter.

He didn’t know what it was he expected to find.

Fear or something terrifying in her eyes.

But a smile on her face certainly wasn’t it.

He stalled, almost stumbling over his own feet at the sight, her beautiful grey eyes alight with something that he couldn’t place.

But he sure as fuck liked it.

She didn’t hesitate to meet him halfway, coming right up to him, sliding up under his arm and right up against him.

Like she fit there.

She did.

“Your hand okay?”

Right then he didn’t feel anything but her body pressed against him. His dick already half hard at seeing the smile on her face, came raging forward. His jeans instantly tight. The earlier jealousy melted away, replaced by overwhelming desire for her.

Fuck she was beautiful.

The small smile on her face, the one saying that she knew exactly the effect that she had on him, almost did him in, and he had to clear his throat before answering her.

“Um … yeah. I’m fine. You okay, little bird?” he whispered, sounding like a lovesick fool.

Guess he was.
