LOL! Goofy ass nigga. You try me and see what will happen.
I don’t know who the fuck she thought she was, but just for that, I was going to choke the shit out of her dumb ass. These hos had me fucked up. Once I got my hands on Jela, her funky ass was going to wish she had never left this fucking house.
I pulled onto the block, noticing all of my workers in attendance. I didn’t need to say shit as they all hopped in their rides. Shooter got in the car with me, and everyone followed us to Roben, where the bitch-ass Renegades hung out. One thing Damien Senior taught me was to never let shit slide with nobody. Them Renegade niggas really thought I was pussy or some shit.
They asses were about to learn today.
“This shit has been long overdue. It’s time to stop playing this fucking cat-and-mouse game with these bitch-ass niggas.”
“Facts,” I responded to Shooter, getting in my zone to kill these motherfuckers.
“You better warn Tru that he’s about to put on that black suit.”
“I ain’t telling him shit! Fuck Tru and fuck Law too. This nigga been playing with me for too long. I’m about to shut his ass down, permanently.”
I could feel Shooter’s eyes on me, and I knew why. I had never said, “fuck my brother” before, but Truce was on some shady shit at the moment. I didn’t want to think he had anything to do with Jela leaving me, but it's mighty funny that right after I introduced them, her ass started stepping out of pocket. Then, Neveah mysteriously wanted to start hanging out with her, and days later, that bitch call herself “leaving me.” Yeah, it was starting to smell real fucking fishy around this bitch, and I was about to catch me a few of them motherfuckers—hook, line, and sinker.
“I never thought I’d see the day you’d say fuck him. What he do?”
“Nothing, nigga…”
“I’m just asking. He always thought he was better than everybody, anyway. So, yeah, fuck’em.”
“I’m the only nigga that can speak ill of my brother. You can't, so don’t do too much, my guy.”
Shooter chuckled. “Yeah, okay, D.”
The rest of the ride was silent as I put out a text explaining how we were about to shut these niggas down.
Me:
No questions. No stopping. Light the block up.
They replied, saying “say less” as we approached the block.
Approaching the location, my heart thumped, but not out of fear. My ass was ready to handle this, so I could find Jela and beat her ass for playing with me. Before I could turn the corner, the sound of gunshots filled the air that didn’t come from my shooters or me.
“Fuck!” I screamed out.
I did a U-turn in the middle of the block, rolling my window down slightly to signal my team to fall back. Shooter and I were in my bulletproof whip, but my team wasn’t, so while we were good, they were in danger. I could see three of the five cars that came with me trailing behind us as we sped back down the block. They were shooting back, but apparently, they were missing since the gunfire didn’t stop until we were off the block.
“How the fuck did they know we were coming?” Shooter yelled.
“I don’t know. I’m sure they were anticipating us coming through. I should have fuckin’ waited,” I replied. “But this shit ain’t over. Believe that.”
My phone goingoff woke me out of my sleep. I grabbed my watch from the nightstand, looking at the time that read three in the morning. I tossed it back on the luxury table and grabbed my phone to see who the fuck was calling at this ungodly hour. When I saw Law’s name come across my screen, I woke up fully and answered his call.
“Law. What’s good wit’ you?”
“Come downstairs,” were his only words before he disconnected the call.
I ran my hand down my face and cleared my throat. If he was pulling up on me at this hour, I just knew some bullshit had gone down. I grabbed my T-shirt from the chair and slipped it on before sliding my feet into my slides. I located my room key andphone and slipped out of the heavy door. I was tempted to check on Jela, but I was sure she and Chunks were asleep.
I took the elevator down to the lobby, already seeing two big, bulky niggas securing the entrance. I was sure there were more outside, knowing how Law moved. My eyes scanned the lobby to see him sitting inside the dining area. I headed in his direction, and he stood to greet me. We slapped palms and hugged before we departed and took seats across from each other.
“It’s good to see you, Law.”
He chuckled lightly. “I don’t know if I believe that. Yo’ ass been here for almost a week and ain’t checked on yo’ people.”
