“Where you going?” she asked. “You’re not going to shower with me?”

“Nah, I gotta go. Some shit went down that I have to go take care of.”

“Are you coming back?”

“I don’t know, Britt. Just stay cool until I come back.”

“If you don’t come back within the next twenty-four hours, I’ll be right at your front door with my bags. Don’t play with me. Buying me this townhouse ain’t gon’ stop me either.”

“Man, gone with that bullshit.”

“Think I’m playing!” she shouted at my back as I hurried down the stairs and out the door.

The twenty-minute ride to my house was cut down to fifteen. I sped through traffic trying to get to my house to grab my choppers. Since niggas wanted to act out, I was about to nut the fuck up. Fuck Law being Truce’s best friend. That nigga was about to feel some fucking heat for fucking with my hitta and my money.

I pulled into my driveway, and something seemed eerily off. There wasn’t one light on in the house. I hurriedly got out of my truck and rushed up the walkway. My first thought was that those bitch-ass niggas unalived my girl and my baby, but no one knew where I lived besides my family, Shooter, two of my other loyal soldiers, and Brittany.

I pulled my gun from my hip and opened the door, leading with my gun.

“Alexa! Turn on the lights!” The house lit up, and my eyes scanned the living room, dining room, and entrance to the kitchen. “Jela!”

No answer.

I walked over to the intercom and called for her. Still, no answer.

“The fuck? Jela! Yo’ ass better be in the fucking shower!” I yelled, rushing up the stairs to our bedroom.

When I made it up, I pushed open the doors. I looked around but didn’t see too much out of the ordinary until I checked the closet. Half of her clothes were gone, and a few pairs of shoes.I checked the drawers, and her underwear was gone, along with her jewelry box.

“I know this stupid bitch ain’t leave this fucking house!” I growled out, rushing to my office to check the footage.

When I opened the security app, I could see everything up until she walked into my office, and then the video feed cut. I swiped the computer onto the floor, realizing what she had done. There was no way this broad had the guts to leave me. Somebody had put a battery in her back, and I knew it had to be Neveah’s tack head ass. I hurriedly dialed her number, but it rang out to voicemail. I checked Jela’s location, and it showed that she was here. I went through her text messages and phone calls next, using the phone clone app, and all I saw were her last messages to me, my moms, and the wedding planner, canceling the wedding altogether.

“Fuck!”

I called Neveah’s phone, and her shit went to voicemail, too, so I sent her a text.

Me:

If Jela don’t bring her ass back to this house with my daughter, I’m gon’ fuck both of y’all up! I ain’t playing with you, Nev, since you want to be captain save-a-ho!

I then sent one to Jela.

Me:

I don’t know what drugs you smoking, but if you don’t bring your bitch ass back here, I’m going to come find you and you ain’t gon’ like what imma do to ya ass! You got me fucked up!

I walked out of the office and went to take a shower. When I got out, I hurriedly dressed, then checked my phone, seeing no text from Jela, but one from Neveah.

Nev:

First of all, don’t you ever threaten me. You got me fucked up. If she left you, good for her! But you don’t want these problems Damien. So cool the fuck out.

Me:

You saw what the fuck I said. Try me.

Nev:
