“Good girl,” he praised, getting another bite ready.
“Teefs wants a bite,” she said, turning the zombie baby around in her lap. Daddy smiled and patiently fed her stuffy? some too.??
When the veggies were finished, Daddy wiped her hands and face, took her bib off, and tucked it back in his pocket. “Are you and Teefs all done?”
She nodded and yawned again.
Pike helped her stand from the table before standing himself. “Hold my pocket again, Bitty.”
She did and walked beside Daddy as he turned in their trays and cups. Once his hands were free, he scooped her up, settling her on his hip. “Let’s go get ready for bed, baby.”
That idea sounded great to Dallas. It had been a very long day.
CHAPTER 5
Pike gently bathed Dallas with the new baby soap he’d picked up at the Ranch store. He’d been pleased to see all the items they’d purchased waiting for them when they’d gotten back from dinner. His Little one yawned again and he checked his watch. It was nine thirty? pm back in their hometown of Strickland and they’d had an early start. Poor baby was exhausted.
He rinsed her body before pulling the stopper on the large tub.
“Daddy?” she asked.
“Yes, Bitty?”
“We need this baf at home.”
He laughed, delighting in her Little speak. “We do need this big bathtub at home! It’s much bigger than ours,” he agreed. They could both fit in their tub at home, but not without being a bit squished.
He grabbed a towel from the porcelain rack beside the tub and helped her stand before wrapping it around her.
He swung her in his arms causing her to giggle hard. “I’m really excited to get to know Teenie Tiny Dallas,” he said, meaning it with his entire heart.
“I think she’s going to be the coolest baby,” she proclaimed with a nod.
“The coolest,” he agreed before pressing loud kisses to her cheeks. Pike carried her into the attached nursery and laid her on the padded changing table. Lifting the straps, he clipped them around her belly before pulling them tight. He knew Dallas was embarrassed because her face was flushed, but he leaned over her and took both her hands in his. “You’re doing a great job, Bitty.”
“It’s a little bit embarrassing,” she admitted.
“I know, baby, but there’s no reason to be. It’s just me and you.”
She nodded. He cupped her cheeks in his hands and pressed their noses together.
“Why are you feeling embarrassed?”
“What if people think I’m yucky cause I’m wearing a diaper?”
“Do you think Littles who wear diapers are yucky?”
Her eyes widened, “No, Daddy. That’s mean.”
“It’s mean to think Little ones who wear diapers are yucky?”
“Yas, huh.”
“If you think it’s mean to think that about someone, don’t you think others in the lifestyle will think it's mean too?”
She nodded.
“So do you think anyone isreallygoing to think you’re yucky or do you think maybe you’re just nervous?”
