I can’t help but smirk. This girl is something else. How could I have ever thought she would leave me when she found her scent match?
Here she is, standing next to hers, and she’s still here.
I hate that I automatically assumed my scent match would make me give up Ally, too. Because heresheis, smiling up at me with those pretty blue eyes that melt my damn soul, loving the same girl I do.
My whole world has been rocked, and so is how I think about everything that's happened in my life, and what's about to come.
“Okay.” I know arguing with Ally isn’t going to get me anywhere. And honestly, seeing her stand up for Lulu makes me hard.So fucking weird.
“Good. Now go.” She kisses Lulu softly. “I’ll see you tomorrow?” The bit of fear in her voice kills me. I know how much this means to Ally to have Lulu back in her life.
“Of course.” Lulu smiles back.
“Wait.” Brady steps forward, and the urge to growl isn’t as bad as it was. At first, with how he talked to Ally, I was ready to rip his head off. And while the overwhelming changes that have happened tonight aren’t an excuse for his words, I understand what he’s feeling.
Cupping Ally’s face, Brady leans down and kisses her. A soft whimper leaves her, and a moment later, we’re all hit with Ally’s perfume, a smell I’m obsessed with.
I have to smother a groan, my cock perking up.
“Be safe,” Brady murmurs against her lips. “I’ll see you tomorrow?”
Ally nods, biting her lower lip with this lust-filled look on her face. “Mhhmm.”
He takes a step back, looking pained to be leaving her behind.
“I’ve got her.” Nate places his hand on my back.
I look down at my Beta and nod. I know this man is on cloud nine right now. Cheeky little bastard. But I can’t say I’m upset. He’s been trying to get me to get over my past and be with Ally for a while now.
“Call me if you need me, okay?” I tell Ally. “Doesn’t matter the time.”
“I’m a big girl. I’ll be okay.” Ally rolls her eyes. “I have plans on playing poker with the guys. Need to get my money back from last weekend,” she grumbles.
I look at Nate. “Don’t let my brother weasel more money out of her.”
“Hey, no one weaseled anything out of me,” she protests.
“Babe, you’re shit at poker and Skyler is nearly a professional. He’s playing you.”
“You’re mean,” she huffs. “Lulu, take this meanie away from me.” She shoos me away.
I chuckle, and Lulu laughs. “Gladly.” Lulu smiles up at me, and it takes my damn breath away.
This is going to take some getting used to, but I can’t deny how right it feels. Like this is meant to be.
“Ahh, how are we getting home?” Lulu asks when we get outside the building. There are still cars leaving from the concert. “We rented a limo to come here.”
“Well, we’re not going to fit in Ally’s little bug,” I grumble. “Let me call for a car.”
“Wait, Ally still has that car?” Lulu looks up at me with wide eyes.
“Oh yeah,” I chuckle. “She has one of the roadies drive it around while we’re on tour. She makes me drive the damn thing whenever she can.”
“You can fit in it?” Lulu snorts out a laugh. “God, I’d love to see that.”
“Like a clown in a clown car,” Gavin says.
“It’s what I feel like when I’m in it,” I sigh, making the phone call for the car.
