It’s almost too much.

And just when I think I might be able to hold back those tears, Ally starts to speak.

“Hello, Los Angeles!” she shouts into the mic. I spin around to see her in the middle of the stage. “How are we doing tonight?”

The crowd goes insane, and I’m brought back to a time when Ally and I were lying on the hill in the park, looking up as the clouds went by.

“One day, I want to make it big. I want to play in sold-out stadiums where people chant my name.” She looks at me with that smile that always takes my breath away. “Is that too conceited of me?”

“No.” I shake my head. “I don’t think so. You deserve it. You're talented enough for it, that's for sure.

“You think?”

“I know. You're going to do great things, Ally, just you wait and see.”

To be able to see it now, to see how far she’s come in person, makes me proud. I’m glad that despite life splitting us up, she was still able to make her dreams come true. I’m just sad I wasn’t able to be along for the journey like I always thought I’d be.

“Thank you so much for having us. It’s nice to be back at home base, even if it’s only for a few nights.” She keeps going. “Lucky for you, you’ve come on a very exciting night.”

She looks over her shoulder, grinning at Liam and me.

“Something tells me she’s about to do something that’s about to cause a lot of potential issues,” Nate says, joining me at my other side.

My head snaps over to him. “What makes you say that?”

He grins down at me. “She’s got that crazy look in her eyes that she always gets when she’s up to no good.”

My eyes find hers again, and I see it. She’s grinning like a fool, and I can’t help but grin back. Oh, I remember those eyes. We’ve gotten into a lot of trouble back in the day, and that was my only warning.

With a wink, she turns back to the crowd.

“She’s going to give me gray hair,” Liam sighs heavily.

“I think you would look hot with gray hair.” I shrug.

“Same,” Nate chuckles.

Sharing my Alpha with Ally is one thing, but with Nate? I have to share my Omega with him, too. They both seem to like him; maybe it won’t be so bad.

“Today is a very special day for a lot of reasons. Before I continue, I wanna say sorry to my PR team. I’ll make sure to give you all a nice, juicy bonus.” She laughs, and the crowd laughs along with her.

“Oh fuck,” Nate groans, pulling his phone out. “Rachel? Yeah, have them on standby.”

“Should we be worried?” I ask, looking up at Liam, then over to Nate. “Shouldn’t one of you go stop her?”

Liam snorts. “There’s no stopping Ally when she gets an idea in her head. It’s better to just deal with the fallout.”

“It’s my fault. I’ve been very supportive of her free will, encouraging her to make her own choices regarding her career,” Nate sighs. “And she has every right to. Her life. Her choice. She just never fails to keep me on my toes.” Nate grins, “Shhhh, don’t tell anyone, but I think it’s the best part.”

“You see, today, someone very, veryimportant to me came back into my life.”

My eyes widen, and the crowd cheers.

“How many of you know about the one who got away?” The deafening noise of the crowd as they scream back is insane. “Well, this person was mine. Someone I thought I’d lost forever. Guess some god out there took pity on my ass and gave my poor heart a break.”

More cheers. “I’ve seen the article, the rumors, the guesses of who’s Ally with? Does she have a pack? Is she dating her bandmates? Well, first, these guys.” She hitches a thumb over her shoulder to Skyler, Tyson, and Ryker. “Are like my big brothers. So eww, gross.” She shudders, and people laugh. “So that answers those rumors. But do I have a pack?” She cocks her head to the side as she paces the stage. “Yesterday, I would havesaid no. I was as single as they come.” More cheers. “Ahhh, but that was yesterday. Today is a whole new ball game.”

The crowd loses their shit once again.
