Why is he bringing this up? Just when I thought maybe we could all move on like it never happened.

He must see the look on my face because he rushes to continue with the rest of his thought. “Well, we have an idea as a sort of solution to your predicament.”

“Solution?” I ask, thoroughly lost.

“Get there faster,” Grayson says, glaring at Tucker.

“Doyouwant to do the talking?” Tucker asks him.

Grayson crosses his arms over his chest, letting out a quiet, “No.”

“Exactly.” Tucker sighs. I swear I hear Warren huff out an almost-laugh, but I’m staring at Tucker, so I can’t confirm.

“We were thinking about a friends-with-benefits type of situation to help you discover what you like in bed.” His eyes look up, like a million other possibilities crashed into his brain. “Or maybe in a car, on a couch, in a shower, on a desk.”

“She gets the fucking point,” Grayson growls.

I have to bite my lip to keep from laughing. My mind tries to roll over what he just said.Friends with benefits?

“With who?” I ask. My eyes roam over the line of them before me.

Warren surprises me by speaking up. “All of us, if that’s what you want.”

All thoughts screech to an abrupt stop. All of them? At the same time? All for me?

“We’re all on board if this is something you want,” Tucker says. He presses a kiss to my cheek. “It could be a lot of fun, Sunshine,” he whispers in my ear.

I’m still frozen in place when Grayson rests his hands on my shoulders. “Just think about it. Okay?”

All I manage to get out is a barely there humming noise. His lips press against my forehead before he steps back.

Warren wraps me in his huge arms, and I feel like I can finally breathe again. There is something about him that just makes me feel safe.

His voice is low and gravelly against the top of my head. “You said you wanted to fight for what you wanted. We just wanted to give you a chance to do that.”

Holy shit. There goes my heart again. Beating away like a wild horse I have absolutely zero control over.

“Just nod if you’ll think about it,” Tucker says as Warren reluctantly lets me go.

The corner of my mouth ticks up as I give him a single nod.

I guess I’m going to consider this asinine idea.

CHAPTER TEN

Sienna

Why,oh why, does this photo shoot have to be today?

I mean, I do know why—I have a best friend who’s a photographer, so setting up a photoshoot with the firefighters and the animals from the shelter seemed like a genius idea.

Now, I’m second-guessing all my plans to make a fundraiser calendar to raise money for the shelter.

All because I don’t know how to face three gorgeous firefighters who smacked me in the face with a proposal I haven’t been able to make heads or tails of yet. I swear, every time I think about their offer, I arrive at a different conclusion.

I’ll be firmly set on thinking it’s all insanity and there’s no way I can go through with it. Then, a few hours later, I’ll be jumping on the female empowerment train and telling myself, “Get yours, girl!”

It’s already been several days. I know I need to give them an answer, butarrrggghhh,I just don’t know.
