Slow and gentle doesn’t last long. When I hear a little moan escape herthroat, all sense evades me. I bite her lip, encouraging her to open to me. I reward her for doing so by sliding my tongue into her mouth. I explore her tastejust like the first time, falling completely over the edge of sanity.
I move from her mouth to her neck, nipping at the sensitive flesh. She begins to rock herself against my thigh nestled at her core. Her moans become louder when my hand finds its way under her shirt, stroking the soft skin of her hips. I press my thigh tighter into her core, allowing her to find that friction she’s seeking.
I move lower down her body, catching a peaked nipple between my teeth over her shirt. I move my handunder her ass, helping her chase her release.“Let go, baby. I’ll catch you,” I tell her as I grab her earlobe between my teeth.
I move my hand up her shirt some more, catching her bare nipple between my fingers. “Don’t ever be afraid to fall with me.”
She begins to tense and shake. She opens her mouth to scream, but I catch the scream with my mouth.I continue to rock my thigh against her core as I attack her mouth. I moveas the aftershocks rock her body.
When the last ripplesubsides, I pull my mouth away from her. I press my forehead to hers as her sweet breath floats over my face. She looks at me with affection. I don’t even think she knows how she looks at me. She’s so accustomed to hiding everything, butwhen she’s with me, that façade drops. I won’t tell her. I don’t want her to reinforce those walls she has built around herself, and that’s what she’ll do if I point it out.
“Jake,” she whispers almost reverently. It’s then that I realize nothing would’ve happened with that guy last night. She may not love me,but she’s getting there. And she wouldn’t have been able to go through with it, no matter who it was.
“Feel better,” I grin, trying to lighten the mood for her.
She nods with a smile. “What about you?”
“What about me?” I play dumb.
“Thatsteel pipe laying against my hip can’t be comfortable,” she smirks.
I kiss her nose. “Don’t worry about that,” I tell her. “It’ll go away eventually.”
“But I can he ....”she starts. I cut her off with my mouth to hers. Her fingers tangle in my hair, bringing me closer. The heat and fire burning through usareexplosive. Everytime we touch, it’szero to sixty in under a second. She’s already burning for me, and I haven’t stopped burning for her.
“Daddy, where are you?” I hear the most adorable cockblocker call out my name.
“Perfect timing,” I grin down at Cara. “Another minute, and I would’ve had you naked.”
“Another minute, and I would’ve let you,” she tells me. I kiss her nose again.
She looks at me with worry in her eyes. “What is it?” I ask.
“I – I just don’t want to lead you on, Jake. Last night – this – doesn’t change anything,” she tells me, her eyes moving away from mine.
I grip her chin, forcing her to look at me. “I told you last night, I don’t need you to do anything. Let me be what you need.”
“I’m going to break your heart,” she whispers while her finger caresses my jaw.
“Let me worry about that.”
“It’s not fair,” she argues, but there’s no real fight in her tone.
“It’s fair to me, Cara. I’m going to be everything you need to heal. I’m going to carry some of that weight that’sholding you down. I’m going to love you until you learn to love yourself. Then, maybe then, you will be able to love me too.”She sniffs as a tear falls.
“Daddy,” I hear my very impatient princessyell again.
“Get up and get dressed,” I tell Cara. “I’ll take a shower when you’re done.”
She nods, and I leave the room. I see Lyra standing in the middle of itwith her arms folded, looking at Angel like he’s the devil.Ironically, he is looking at her like she’s Satan’s spawn.
“What the hell is going on here?” I laugh.
“Daddy, I can says Anel,” she tells me with her bottom lip poked out.
“Look, munchkin,my name is An-gel. ‘J’ with a g. I’m not a butthole,” Angel argues with her.
Her bottom lip begins to quiver, and Angel looks atme with panic in his eyes. “That,” he points at herlip, “is why we are here. I can’t handle it.”
