I turn and laugh when Brent looks horrified. “I’ve never been so worried… and so turned on before…” Brent says. “I think I might wanna fuck you up now, Nia.”

“Imagine if all three of them did that to you at one time,” Fiona giggles. “I need you three to attack her one day just for me.”

“Done,” Adrian grunts and grabs my face to kiss me hard when I get close, and then Brent does the same.

“We need to find some lunch,” Fiona says. “How about you and I go pick up food while the boys work on whatever it is they do.”

“Tacos!” I say happily.

“Duh!” Fiona giggles and pulls me to her. “Work. Research. Jerk each other off. Whatever. We will be back.”

“I need to clean up first,” I laugh.

“Right. Clean my husband’s come out of you, and then we can go get tacos,” Fiona says. She pulls me out of the room without letting the guys say anything.

Chapter Twenty Eight

Adrian

We watch as thegirls drive through the gate before going back inside to sit. “How are you and Fiona?” I ask Raul.

“Uh. Good,” he says, and I raise an eyebrow at him. “It’s nothing bad, we just agree that we are great friends, but we aren’t romantically connected. We will be fine, but I know eventually she will want that connection with someone.”

“Eh. Something to address later,” I say. “So where are we at with Alania’s biological family?”

“Well,” Raul says. “She is part of the O’Mally family. It’s a massive family, so I am trying to find out who exactly she belongs to. They have a habit of hiding under false names, so it’s taking some time.”

“Well, let’s start at the bottom and work our way to the main ones running it. They’ve been pretty quiet. All of them.”

We all end up on our laptops researching. It’s hard to find the child of a ghost when we don’t actually know how old Alania truly is or when she was taken. Families like this don’t report their child missing to the police; they start a war.

About an hour later, Julio, my head of security, comes busting into the house. “What is your…” I start to say.

“There was a shooting!” Julio nearly shouts.

“What?” I snap as I toss my laptop down beside me and jump up with the others.

“There was a shooting. Reggie followed them. He lost them for a second but… It’s the girls…”

“Fuck!” I hiss. “Let’s go.”

Chapter Twenty Nine

Alania

“Thank you!” I saysweetly as I take the bag of food from the man.

“Have a good day,” he says with a nod.

I turn and walk outside with Fiona beside me. “I’m so hungry,” Fiona groans. “Think they’ll notice if I eat one?”

“I don’t think they will mind,” I laugh. We get to the car, and I notice right away that all of the tires are flat. “Fuck.”

I search my bag for my phone while Fiona puts the food in the car. I navigate my phone to get Adrian’s contact when Fiona gasps. “Alania!”

“Wha….” I turn around and come face-to-face with Edward.

“Hello, Alania,” he says with a smirk. “Not so confident without your husband, are you?” How’s your brother?”
