I chuckled. “And someplace where we can geta bigger pirate bed.”
Scott blushed as his gaze bounced betweenus. “Really? We could get a bigger one?”
“Oh yes.” Dare wiggled his ass over whathad to be Scott’s erection. “I like tying up my sweet boy.”
His heated gaze and just the sexy way hespoke made a shiver run through both of us. Pushing closer, I snuggled up toboth of them and wrapped my arms around my boyfriends. “And I like watching himtie you up.”
Dare chuckled, giving me a quick peck. “Youreally do.”
“But having a comfy bed that fit all of uswhen we were sleeping would be nice.” I wasn’t going to push and say that Iwanted us to share a bedroom, but at the very least, I wanted to spend thenight together when Dare stayed over.
Besides, I wasn’t sure if he would feelleft out if we moved into the same room while he wasn’t living with us.
Having a bigger place would bring up a lotmore questions, but we all knew it was the right thing to do. Especially if itmeant that Scott and I wouldn’t worry about Dare coming over on his own. Welived in the wrong part of town when we were scared that he couldn’t wait inthe parking lot without something going bad.
“And some privacy.” Dare sighed. “Anytimewe’re loud I worry about what the neighbors will think.”
Good point.
Scott glanced between us. “How about I tryto talk to the house people again this week?”
The house we’d wanted to look at had goneon the back burner when the woman we’d talked to said they were finishing up afew projects and it wasn’t quite ready to show. I nodded. “I can get off earlyon Friday.”
Hopefully, that would work and wouldn’tgive someone else a chance to get it before us.
“That works for me.” Dare gave us a beamingsmile. “I’ll find a few more options and we’ll see what else we want to go lookat even if the house isn’t available.”
“That sounds good.” I sat back, focusing onScott. “But if these don’t work out, I think we need to jump up the budget andlook at some fancier places.”
His wince made me grin and it looked likeDare was in the same boat; he was just hiding it better. I continued, my voicesoothing. “I know you hate that idea. You’re right, we don’t need fancy withlots of weird amenities, but we might have to deal with that until we’re readyto buy.”
I didn’t need a concierge or an onsite drycleaner, but if that’s what it took to find an apartment that we liked, thenwe’d live with it.
“That’s just such a waste of money.”Scott’s tight expression looked like the idea actually pained him. “There’s somany better things we could be doing with that money.”
He was right…but he was a bit nuts too.
“One step at a time.” Dare gave him a quickpeck. “There are a lot of cheaper places we haven’t looked at yet, and therewere some other houses in the right price range too.”
But none that had a hot tub or as much privacy.
Pointing that out would just frustrateScott, though, so I decided we needed a change in topic. Snuggling closer, Igave them both puppy dog eyes. “How long do I have to wait until I can beg forthe cake we brought home?”
They both laughed and Dare gave me a quickkiss, appreciation flashing in his eyes as he lay back on Scott’s chest. “Idon’t know. I think there’s a case to be made for me getting all of thepieces.”
Scott and I both groaned, making Dare’sdevilish grin widen. “But I think I might be bribed to share with my boys.”
That was a challenge if I’d ever heard one.
Luckily, our Master had two boys who wereup to any challenge he could give us…no matter whether that involved cake orapartment hunting.
Chapter 18
Scott
I looked at the computer screen one moretime before picking up my work phone. It looked great in the pictures, but thatwasn’t what had me second-guessing myself. The more I thought about moving, theless appealing another rental became. Even if this one was in a great part oftown with plenty of room and a hot tub, it wouldn’t belong to us.
I was making enough that renting was a bitridiculous, considering I didn’t want to leave the area, and I’d had a downpayment saved up for several years. So had Ryan, for that matter. We’d justnever labeled it like that.
