They’d been his way of pushing me, and atthe time I’d thought he was being ridiculous because I couldn’t imagine needingthem, but as Griffin took them in, I knew I owed Austin an apology.

Dakota’s strong fingers caressed around theedges and I knew he probably had a wicked smile on his face as he teased notonly me but Griffin as well. By the time he slowly eased them over my dick andass and let them fall to the ground, the tension that filled the area was thickwith desire, not worries.

Giving me one last innocent kiss, Dakotaran his hands over my chest, trailing them down to my erect cock. He neveractually touched me, but I could see Griffin’s pupils dilating and the way hisbreathing was getting heavier. “Have fun, sweetie, and just know we’re righthere beside you no matter what.”

With that loving push, I stepped out of Dakota’sembrace and into Griffin’s. He smiled and kissed my head sweetly, but the wayour bodies brushed against each other felt anything but innocent. “Are youready to swim with me?”

“Yes.” I couldn’t picture a moment whereI’d become ready, but as he led me toward the edge of the pool, I knew that nomatter what happened I was ready to take the plunge.

With my friends beside me, I was ready foranything.

Chapter 12

Griffin

Pulling Wade closer as we bobbed in thewater, I whispered something I’d been wondering about for the last hour. “DoesSimon actually have a tattoo on his dick or did Austin go after him with amarker?”

Simon had kept his clothes on for most ofthe afternoon, so it wasn’t until he’d gotten into the pool that I started towonder what he’d done to himself.

Wade started laughing so hard he slippedout of my arms and nearly dunked himself. I caught him before he could do morethan sputter as the water hit his lips, but we got a lot of looks. Silas raisedone eyebrow. “The point of being a Dom is to keep them from doing stupid shitmost of the time, not drown them.”

Snorting, I shot him a glare. “I’m prettysure Wade is the one with common sense amongst this group. So as his Dom, mygoal is to make him happy, not just keep him alive.”

Laughter rolled around the pool and I got alot of nods, but Tristan shook his head. “Going to have to agree with thekeeping them alive side of things.”

Wade laughed. “I remember to eat and sleepon my own. So there’s that.”

“Hey.” Dakota frowned, but since the jabsseemed to be fairly accurate from what I’d heard about him, he couldn’tcomplain much more than that.

“Besides, I’ve already started feeding himon a regular basis and the pool isn’t that deep, so everything’s covered.” Wewere on the deeper side of the pool, but Wade wouldn’t have had too muchtrouble standing if he’d needed to.

But since I liked holding him and feelinghis body slowly caress mine in the water, he hadn’t really found it necessaryto do much work. Smiling, Wade turned his head and kissed my neck. “You takevery good care of me and you make the best food.”

Austin snorted. “Then why didn’t he bringdessert or something?”

“Because we were in charge of paying forthe meat, smart-ass.” Wade smiled sweetly. “But if you remember, I offered toswitch with you because Griffin said he didn’t mind making something, and youturned me down.”

Austin huffed. “I got paid in cookies thisweek. What was I supposed to do, say no? She’s like ninety and can’t seem toremember she has to pay rent.”

He was insane, but he was clearly a softie.

“Better cookies than that damnedmoonshine.” Silas’s response was growled out, but the way he leaned down tonibble on Austin’s neck said it was mostly just for show.

Naughty giggles came from the omegas as thealphas wore indulgent looks. Even Wade was having a good time. “Oh no, themoonshine was fabulous.”

Simon laughed. “You should have seen them.Drunk off their asses and Jonah was nearly in tears because Austin had himconvinced I was going to get a monster tattooed on the end of my dick. I’dnever seen anything like it.”

Tristin shook his head. “Oh no, the besthas to be when they thought they’d lost Dakota. Austin was so pissed at Silas. It was awesome.”

He seemed to have an interesting sense ofhumor.

Silas groaned. “Moonshine is evil.”

Austin’s grin said he didn’t agree withthat. “Yes, Master. It’s terrible.”

That would have been more believable ifhe’d stopped smiling. Silas seemed to think so too because he did somethingunder the water that made Austin squeak. But since whatever he did made Austinturn in his arms and try to find the best part of his body to kiss and make itup to Silas, I wasn’t worried.

Leaning down to Wade again, I spokequietly. “Your friends keep getting weirder and weirder, goody-goody.”
