“No, that was for research purposes. I haveto be ready for the club. Tanner’s been talking around it all, but I’m notstupid.” Then it was his turn to snort. “And really, you have a tattoo on yourdick, that kind of draws the eye.”

I laughed. “But you really do look thatinnocent, so it’s not surprising he’s easing you into things.”

Silas gave us both dry looks. “I’m not thatinnocent. Austin liked the pool party. That’s my main concern.”

We were getting off track.

“Why are you here?” Glancing between bothof them, I focused on Shane because he looked guiltier.

“Well…Tanner got a call and Austin—”

Silas must have objected to the way Shanewas dragging his feet. He sighed and interrupted fairly quickly. “Austin andTanner want to make sure you’re serious about Bradley. They’re not going to beupset if it’s just playing around as long as Bradley understands that, but theywant to make sure you guys are on the same page.”

Nosy motherfuckers.

“Did Bradley say we were just playing?”That wasn’t exactly what they’d said, but I didn’t like the implications.

Silas shook his head. “He was over at theshop earlier this week and I heard them talking a bit. He seems serious eventhough he was dodging Austin’s questions like a pro.”

I grinned. “He’s had a lot of practice.”

Shane sighed. “Just tell us what you’rethinking so we can go report back like good minions.”

Silas barked out a laugh. “I’m a Dom makingsure his sub is happy. You can be a minion if you want, but our role-playingdoesn’t go that direction.”

“You guys are so strange. It’s contagious, isn’t it? Once you get into their little cultist family grouping, your brainstarts turning to swiss cheese.” I laughed when they both nodded.

“It’s all the sex.” Silas’s dry responsehad Shane and me cracking up.

Realizing the only way to get them to leavewould be to open up a bit, I decided it was for the best. “From my perspectiveand what Bradley has said I think we’re both in agreement that this is serious, but we’re not rushing. He seems a bit skittish about something.”

He didn’t seem to have a problem withtrusting me with his body or his fantasies, but his heart and his past weresomething else entirely.

Shane scoffed. “He’s skittish abouteverything that doesn’t involve sex. But I just want to know that you’re happy.I know you got tossed into the deep end with all of this.”

“I’ll admit you and Graham being part oftheir group is a little odd sometimes, but I don’t feel like I was thrown inthe deep end. I knew something was up with you two, so it was really only amatter of time that everything else came out.” None of them were subtle enoughto have kept the secret for any length of time.

Well, Wade and Dakota faked it better thanthe rest of them, but that wasn’t saying much.

“I think the pool party was a good way tostart easing into things.” Silas leaned back against the door. “I know we’veall had different levels of experience but playing with someone you love isdifferent from a hookup at a club or party.”

“Agreed.” Then we both looked over atShane.

He sighed but nodded. “Yes. Tanner hadn’treally shared too much about what they’ve all done together in the past, butafter the party, it was clear he wasn’t surprised at all. So that means I haveto get more comfortable with it.”

I shook my head. “He wouldn’t want you tochange just to make him happy.”

“It’s not that.” Shane took a breath beforehe continued. “It’s just that I honestly never thought about any of this. So Ihave to keep wrapping my brain around something new and figuring out how Ifeel.”

Silas gestured between us. “We’ve had a lotmore time to figure shit out. Don’t rush. Just make sure you keep talking toTanner. He didn’t fall for you because you were the most outrageous Dom outthere.”

“No, that’s why Austin fell for you.” Icouldn’t resist.

Silas laughed. “Yes, Trouble needs astronger, more interesting hand to keep him from doing something insane.”

Oh yeah.

If only a fraction of the things that hadbeen reported were true, Silas had his hands full.
