I couldn’t wait to have someone followingme around judging all the time.

Wade smiled and leaned over to give me ahug. “He’s sexy.”

My smile was genuine that time. “Hot enoughto make Silas jealous? Because that could be fun.”

He wasn’t the jealous type, but he waspossessive enough that he’d be hot as fuck if he felt the need to mark hisproperty. Oh yeah, that would be so erotic I’d probably be walking funny for aweek.

Wade laughed. “Probably not.” Then he satup and glanced out the front window. “But we’ll see.”

“We will? He’s here?” I stood, rushing overto the window to see a dark sedan follow Silas’s car down the driveway.

“How hot is he?” Since I couldn't reallyask about his level of assholeness, it was the best question I could come upwith.

Tanner laughed and I turned back to see himwinking at Shane. “He looks like a postapocalyptic biker who should be runninghis own gang of thugs after the world has ended.”

“You know me so well.” I had a feeling thatwas more Silas than Tanner, though. Tanner had always gone for clean-cut,boring drivers.

Wade chuckled. “You have Silas to thank forthis one.”

Master bought me eye candy? He was the bestMaster ever.

Chapter 20

Silas

“Are there usually photographers outsidethe house?” Clay’s first question as he climbed out of his car was a damnedgood one.

“No.” I glanced back toward the front ofthe driveway. It was long and curved enough that we were hidden from thephotographers, but that didn’t make me feel any better. “He almost never hasanyone following him lately. He’s been trying to stay under the radar.”

Clay nodded, scanning the area around thehouse. “He needs a few more cameras around the fence, but everything else looksreasonable so far. Privacy is good but still a lot of visibility around thehouse.”

“It’s nice to see all that lounging aroundafter getting out hasn’t made you lazy.” I grinned as Clay snorted. “Just don’tforget, Trouble is mine. So hands off.”

Clay shook his head. I kept warning him andhe kept thinking I was insane, but he hadn’t met Trouble yet. But he was aboutto. As the door opened, Austin came running down the stairs like it wasChristmas morning.

Trouble threw himself in my arms, grinningas he took in Clay. Austin didn’t disappoint. “Oh, Silas, he’s so…I can keephim, right? Even the paparazzi will melt when they get a load of him.”

Clay wasn’t sure what to make of Austin, but I just laughed. “You’re all mine, Trouble. But you can leer and flirt toyour dirty heart’s content.”

He melted into me as Clay started tochuckle. “Oh…you’re the best.”

He’d caught himself before he’d saidMaster, but he didn’t need to worry about that. I kissed his head, wrapping myarms around him. “You don’t need to censor what you say, Trouble. Clay’s beenin the lifestyle for as long as I have. He’s a good guy and knows how to keepsecrets.”

Austin’s head popped up and he glancedbetween us. “He’s your friend?”

Nodding, I saw the wheels in Austin’s headturning. “We’ve known each other since we were kids. He spent years in themilitary before an injury sidelined him, so he’s going to be able to keep yousafe if something gets out of control, and nothing you get up to will shockhim.”

I could see the moment it finally clickedthat Clay wasn’t going to be the same as the other drivers. For one thing, histraining wasn’t just for show, and he’d been a Dom in several seriousrelationships, but unfortunately, they hadn’t survived his work.

Austin looked back and forth between us againand I could almost hear the question he wasn’t sure he could ask. I chuckled.“Ask, Trouble.”

Austin looked a little sheepish. “How wereyou hurt? Are you okay now?”

Clay nodded, but I could see his shoulderstense as he reached down and lifted up one pant leg to show the metal piecethat was replacing the bottom part of the leg he’d lost in an explosion. I hada feeling Clay was expecting a typical reaction, but he didn’t know my Trouble.

“Oh, Master, you brought me a sexy Dompirate? Please can I keep him?” He melted against me again and gave me theprettiest pout. I could see the understanding in his eyes as his face turnedaway from Clay. “He’s perfect. And he’s almost as big and sexy as you are.”

Clay was just standing there staring, but Icould see a smile tugging at his lips. He hadn’t dated since he was injured.Even after he’d started to heal, he’d kept people at bay. Trouble wasn’t justanyone, though.
