"She's not fucking worth it."

"Nah, she is. She fuckingis," I spluttered. "Where's Hannah?"

"Amethyst house. It's here," she stammered, pointing down a hallway.

"Room three-o-one."

I nodded, walking towards the room with my body aching.

Any sign of tiredness evaporated when the door opened.

HANNAH

Answer phone.

He must be asleep.

I groaned, sinking onto my bed. Hot tears slid down my cheeks as I fought my emotions.

I couldn't believe I'd seen Kyle, let alone that he'dkissedme.

I'm so fucking over him.

My thoughts drifted to Theo, knowing he would go ape shit when he heard I'd kissed Kyle. I had to pray he believed me.

Theo was jealous, though, and he'dalwayshated Kyle, even when I thought we were happy.

I'd never listened to Theo when he tried to tell me how much of a shit Kyle was. Kyle had been my addiction, his ability to manipulate me secretly away from the eyes of the world was second to none.

I was beyond caring about him now. I peeled my clothes off, wishing I could just go to Theo and explain.

Clutching my phone in case he called me; I pulled a thin t-shirt on over my underwear. I could still hear the music blasting from nearby, and part of me worried that Kyle would come back. He wasn't good with rejection.

I must've dozed off because when I heard a soft knock on the door, I jumped, my eyes wide as I padded over, opening it slowly.

Theo stood in front of me, blood on his lip as he gazed at me, his dark hair falling in his tired eyes.

"Theodore," I whispered when he walked in, wrapping his arms around me. I buried my head in his chest, inhaling deeply.

"Jax called me," Theo growled, holding me away from him as he examined me, his green eyes drinking me in.

I shook my head, panic making me tremble as he watched me, darkness in his eyes.

"Kyle washerewhen I got back, and he kissed me—"

"Did you kiss him back? You need to be honest," Theo demanded, his voice hoarse. He leaned against me, his forehead on mine.

"No! I swear toGod, no—"

Theo pressed his fingers to my lips, pulling me towards him. Running his hand through my hair, we sat on the bed, our eyes locked together.

"Ididn't, Theo."

"Baby. I trust you one hundred percent. Jax doesn't knowshitabout you, not as I do. You wouldn't be my girl if you still liked Kyle."

Relief flooded my body, my eyes falling to his bloodied lip.
