Whoever he is, he's a dead man.

"Her ex, Kyle?"

I froze as nausea swept over me. Racing outside to my truck, I hung up on Jax. I barely gave the engine a chance to start as I set off down the street. It was an hour away during the day, but I knew I could get there sooner at this time of night.

Kyle.

I was going to fuckingmurderhim.

He'd mentally abused Hannah for years, putting her down as she had lost weight, worn tighter clothes, desperately trying to please him as he fucked around with other girls. She'd finally found out and dumped his sorry ass.

Kyle moved houses shortly after, and schools along with it. I'd not seen him since, and I'd been happy with that. But then Hannah had slept around, desperate for the reassurance that she wasn't as bad as Kyle made her feel. It'd killed me, but she wouldn't give me a second glance. As far as Hannah was concerned, I was the same as him.

I shook my head as I mentally kicked myself for not realizing that other schools would be there.

Now Jax had seen himkissingher.

Kissing.

Her.

My hand tightened on the steering wheel as I gritted my teeth. I made it there in under forty minutes, parking my car outside the entrance.

I grabbed my phone, redialling Jax.

"Where are you?" I demanded, striding towards the music.

The place was like a fuckingmaze. I saw directions for different houses, and I cursed when I realized I didn't have a damn clue where Hannah was.

"I'm back at the party—"

I hung up, adding Jax to my hit list.

The halls were quiet as I stomped towards the back, where I heard the music and laughter. As I neared it, I saw a blonde widen her eyes in my direction.

"Well,hello,handsome."

I pushed past her, scanning the crowd, asking familiar faces where Hannah was.

Suddenly, I felt a tug on my arm, and I turned to see the petite brunette from the video call with Hannah point behind me to the building beyond. She beckoned for me to follow her, and I frowned.

"You're Theo, right?" she called to me, and I realized she knew where Hannah was.

I followed her as I saw a familiar figure leaning against the wall, kissing some random girl.

Kyle.

My blood boiled as we neared him, and I grabbed him by the shoulder, punching him square in the mouth.

"Thefuck—" Kyle gasped out before I hit him again.

It felt good; I had to admit. The girls tried to pull us apart as he stood up, laughing as he wiped the blood from his mouth.

"It'scool, Theo. You can have my leftovers."

I launched for him, knocking him to the ground as he rammed his fist into my jaw. I fell back, but not before I kicked him in the ribs, and he let out a howl. With any luck, I had broken the fuckers.

I spat the blood out of my mouth as Kyle glared up at me.
