I pull back just far enough to put an inch between our lips. “I missed you.”

Leaning down, I run my tongue on her bottom lip and kiss her gently.

“You free right now?”

My hands find her waist as she leans back and says, “I am now. What’s up?”

“Want to go for a ride?” I ask.

Her brows immediately furrow, and her eyes narrow. “Why?”

“I’ve got a surprise. Do you trust me?” I pull her into me and kiss the corner of her mouth.

She studies me with squinted eyes, and slowly, a smile tugs at the corners of her lips. “I don’t know. Should I?”

I inch my right hand up until I’m right under her armpit. “Any last words?”

Her eyes fly open. “Don’t. You. Dare!”

My fingers slightly wiggle, and she immediately gives in. “Yes, yes! I trust you. I trust you.”

“Good.”

Looking up, I find Keanu about ten feet away and nod my head, letting him know we’re ready.

“Let’s go.”

“Go where?” she asks.

“Don’t worry about it.”

My fingers wiggle again, and she digs her nails into the back of my neck making my eyes roll and my blood rush.

“Ready to go?” Keanu asks as he approaches, and Becca looks more concerned already.

“He’s my bodyguard. You can’t go around, making sneaky plans withmybodyguard.” She pouts.

Lightly flicking her pouty lips, I lock my fingers with hers and smile. “I can do what I want. Now, put this on, shut up, and get in the damn car, Bec.”

If this is going to work, she cannot see where we are going, or she’ll lose her damn mind.

She gives me a look that’s eerily similar to the Stella stare. “No way I’m putting a blindfold on.”

“Becca, for God’s sake, you’re putting this blindfold on if I have to do it myself,” I tell her.

Her eyes twinkle, and her lips part slightly.

I drop my head to her level. “You have a dirty mind, love.”

She shrugs and hops into the backseat, running her hand up my zipper as she gets in. “Oops.”

My eyes roll to the back of my head. “Save that for later, love. Now, here, put this on. And no peeking.” I hand her the black sleeping mask I swiped from her nightstand this morning.

She knowingly looks at it and scoots a seat over, buckling in. “Not even going to ask.” And she slips the mask onto her head and down over her eyes. “Hurry up now. We don’t have all day, Callum.”

I laugh at the use of my full name and slide in next to her before Keanu pulls away from the curb.

Not going to lie, but knowing she can’t see right now has my hands itching to touch her and caress her smooth skin, so I can watch her gasp in shock.
