Then, he got out of bed.
“I’m going to clean up, and grab a shower. Do you want to join me?” he asked.
She grinned wickedly.
That’s when he lifted a brow.
“Lass, tell me you’re not planning to use me in the shower,” he said.
Gabby got out of bed, and when she walked past him, she slapped him on the ass.
That told him all he needed to know.
“God. I feel cheap, and I like it. A lot.”
And he did.
Finn was about to get even luckier.

Oh, they got Ceit’s skull put back together again, but it took a while. At one point, they moved to the library so Tony could work at the desk and Graham could take a needed nap on the couch.
He was hungover and going through it.
Because he’d been there and done that, Tony cut him a break.
Carrying the skull back, he placed her head where it should be in the crypt. Then, he maneuvered the slab back in place to cover her up.
“Rest in peace, Ceit,” he said, getting her covered. When he placed his hand on the crypt, he heard creaking.

When he turned, the single light swung in the breeze—in the basement with no outside air.
In alarm, Tony stepped back. Before coming here, he would have had a scientific explanation for all the happenings that had gone on.
Now, he only had one.
A ghost.
