“I want to see what it’s like in a Daddy/Little relationship. I want you to help me explore my Little side. I don’t know much about her, but I want to find her with you.”
“I would love nothing more than to be with you and to help you with that. It would be an honor.”
He watched her nod her head before looking away to continue eating her food. Letting silence fall around them again, Miles turned back to his own food and mentally prepared for how he wanted to spend today helping Olivia.
Deciding it would be best to start by letting her see the nursery and just letting her explore it he could hopefully get an idea of where she might fall with her Little.
He didn’t want to push her to start playing at a certain age, but would rather her find it herself with a little bit of guidance.
The buzzing of her phone pulled him from his thoughts.Looking up just in time to see the look of fear fall upon her face, before she schooled her features.
That was twice in less than an hour that she looked terrified at something on her phone. Miles didn’t like that at all and wanted to get to the bottom of things.
“You could have answered that call, babygirl. I wouldn’t mind.”
“No, it’s okay. It wasn’t anything or anyone important.”
“Are you sure? It might have been important.”
“No, it wasn’t. This is a delicious omelette. You will have to show me how you made it. Mine never turn out this yummy.”
Knowing that she was deflecting, Miles let her change the topic. This wasn’t the end of it and since it was clear Olivia wasn’t going to tell him anything, he knew that it was time to take things into his own hands.
“Thank you, Bunny. I would love to show you how to make it, but I’ll have to let you know it’s nothing special at all.”
Finishing his breakfast and gathering their plates, Miles put everything into the dishwasher before turning back to her.
“Would you like to start today?”
“Uh. I didn’t think that far. I guess we can though.”
“If you aren’t ready to do anything, of course we can wait.”
“No, that's okay. I want to.”
“Okay, well I would love to show you something.”
He watched her face morph into one of curiosity, Miles couldn’t wait to show her everything he had been building for the past few years.
“Okay? I’m intrigued. What is it?”
“If I told you it wouldn’t be any fun. Come on! Let's go find out.”
Pulling her up from the chair, Miles walked them down the hallway towards the door that was on the other side of his. He had wanted the nursery to be close to his bedroom.
“I want you to know that there’s nothing behind this door that you need to be scared of. I want you to go in with an open mind and just let your heart show you where to go.”
He watched her take a deep breath. Opening the door and stepping to the side, Miles waited for her to take the first step into what he knew would be her future nursery.
The gasp that he heard fall from her lips was adorable. Especially when she clasped her hand over mouth trying to hide the noise she made.
“Go on, Little Bunny. Go explore.”
Miles watched as she made her way around the nursery touching and looking at everything. Her eyes darted all around as if she didn’t know where to start first.
Turning back towards him, Miles started to worry when he saw tears forming in her eyes.
“Oh, Little one. What’s wrong? Is it too much?”
