Her home was her safe space and she didn’t know how to feel about a male presence being there.

Grabbing her keys from her purse, she slipped her house key into the lock, unlocking her door before she was once again airborne.

Olivia really needed him to stop doing that. She was placed behind him as he walked inside and checked the place out before letting her come any farther into the apartment.

What did he think was going to happen? She knew that there was always the chance that David was lying in wait forher return home, but she still believed that he had no idea where she was.

“Come here, Little Bunny. We need to have a chat.”

Olivia knew that there would be no getting out of this conversation. She had messed up big time and would have to face the music.

Crossing over the kitchen to where he was sitting on her couch, Olivia sat down on the farthest end of the couch, just out of his reach.

“Do you know what wasn’t okay about your behavior tonight in the truck?”

She hoped that if she didn’t answer his question that this conversation would end a whole lot quicker than she believed it would. She should have known that he wouldn’t let this go though.

“I asked a question, Little one. I might not be your Daddy officially, but it’s not nice to ignore a direct question.”

Olivia didn’t budge. There was no way that she was talking to this man about this.

All she wanted to do was soak in the tub before she crawled into bed for the few hours of sleep she knew she would manage.

“I am going to ask one more time, do you know what wasn’t okay about your behavior tonight in the truck?”

Sighing, “It was naughty to try and get out of the truck before it stopped moving.” Olivia was shocked at the way her voice sounded. It seemed like he was, too. It had been awhile since she was even close to slipping that deep into Littlespace.

Yeah she played with Raelyn when they had their playdates, but she never allowed herself to ever go that deep. She blamed Miles and the Daddy vibes he was giving off right now.

Clearing her throat Olivia spoke again. “No, it wasn’t a smart idea for me to try and climb out of the truck before you had come to a stop, but it’s not like I went anywhere anyways. What crazy person has the child lock on anyways when there isn’t a kid in the car?”

“A Daddy does and while there wasn’t a child in the car there was a Little girl in the car. That’s not the point though, Little Bunny. If you had been able to open the truck door you would have fallen out and gotten run over.”

Okay now he was just being dramatic. There was no way that she would have gotten ran over by his truck.

She was a grown woman for heaven's sake. She was more than capable of making sure not to fall underneath the wheels. He was making this a much bigger deal than it actually was.

“I wouldn’t have been run over by the truck. Worse that would have happened, if I would have fallen, was scraping my knees. I have had way worse happen to me before.”

Olivia slammed her lips shut. She had spoken way too much and given him too much information. There was no way that he was going to let that go.

“What do you mean you’ve had worse, Little one?”

“Oh nothing. Just that I’ve gotten hurt worse than scraping my knee. I’ve broken a bone before you know.”

He didn’t look like he believed her response, but he didn’t push any farther. For that she was grateful since she had no idea how to lie to him again about it.

“The point is that it wasn’t okay that you did that and you could have gotten hurt badly. I may not be your Daddy, but I take your health and safety seriously and would never want to see my Little girl hurt.”

Olivia remained silent at his comment. He was right to say that he wasn’t her Daddy, but that doesn’t stop her mind from believing that he really was.

She knew better than to have those thoughts. It was wishful thinking that she would ever be able to have a Daddy.

Even if she did, Olivia didn’t know if she could ever fallfully into Littlespace again. It was like she was broken and her Little was in hiding and only peeked out when she wanted to.

“Now, because we don’t have a dynamic in place and we haven’t had a long conversation about everything, I’m not going to give you a punishment. I do want you to remember that this will be the only warning you get. Do not ever do that again. Daddy or not, I will tan your bottom if you try to jump out of a moving vehicle again. Do I make myself clear?”

Olivia nodded her head.
