“Stay if you want, Isabel. I can call Gio and have him come grab you later. Mia is going home though.”
Isabel gives me a dirty look before turning to Mia. “Do you want to go, Mia?”
Mia sighs. “I think I’m done for the night. Not because this brute is ordering me to, but I’m awfully sleepy all of a sudden.”
She shoots me a sly smirk, and my thoughts flash back to what we just did. I can barely contain the urge to push her back against the wall and do it all over again.
“Fine. We can go home,” Isabel reluctantly agrees.
I order the men standing at the back door to clear the alley before bringing the girls out. Once it’s clear, I escort Isabel and Mia to my car. They each stop and hug Sofia before getting it. I watch as Matteo makes sure Sofia is secure before jumping into his car. I give him a nod, and he nods back. Then I slide into my car to take these two troublemakers home.
“So, Mia, tell me about dancing with Jeff,” Isabel says from the back seat.
My hands tighten on the steering wheel as I glance at the girls in the rearview mirror before focusing back on the road.
“Jeff’s a perv. Tried to feel me up. Thankfully, Lo showed up and got rid of him.”
Isabel gasps. “Did you kill him, Lorenzo?”
My eyes meet her horrified look in the mirror.Glancing to Mia, I notice her smirk.
“Did you off him, Lo? That would be hot.” Mia winks at me, and I shake my head. I don’t know what’s up with her tonight. She’s acting different, not like the Mia I know. I can’t say I don’t enjoy the change, but it does worry me.
“I did not ‘off’ him. I had him kicked out of the club. Always thinking the worst of us, Isabel.” I tsk her.
“Thank God. I don’t think I could forgive myself for getting some poor guy killed,” she says as Mia hushes her.
My eyes snap to them, but they don’t notice. They’re locked in a nonverbal conversation with each other.
“So, what did you two do? I saw you dancing and then poof, gone.” Isabel mimics a magician with her hands to accentuate her words.
I face forward again, letting Mia handle this one. I could save her, but I’m curious as to what she will say.
“We dry humped in the hall. He gave me one amazing orgasm. You didn’t miss much.”
My eyes swing back to meet hers in the mirror. The shock must show on my face because she smiles.
“Damn, girl. I didn’t know you had a wild side to you. I’m glad to hear you got some though.”
Thankfully, I pull up outside their house a moment later. “Stay here. I’ll check the house before you go in.”
They each roll their eyes, but don’t argue. After everything that happened with Sofia and them a little bit ago, they let me do my job without complaint. I jog forward and meet their guards, who have pulled up moments after us.
“I’m going to check the house. Keep an eye on them.”
They each nod as they lean on their cars looking around.
It only takes me a couple of minutes before I’m back outside with the girls. “It’s clear. You can go in.”
They each jump out, and I walk them to the door. Isabel walks in without another word, but Mia hesitates at the door.
“I had fun tonight, Lo. I hope you don’t go back to being a complete jackass after this.”
I sigh. “I don’t want to be a jackass. I don’t do relationships, Mia. I’m not good with them. I don’t want you getting any expectations.”
“Friends. We agreed on friends. Let’s call tonight a benefit from being friends. Sound good?”
I see the conviction in her eyes. She isn’t asking for anything more than I can offer.
