“I hope you’ll let us meet them some day.” I can’t help but tell him, causing the room to kind of quiet. I try to break the tension.
“Do you know what I miss?” I ask while shuffling the cards before picking the one that sticks out to me.
“Bash’s cock?” Mia asks all innocently.
Matt groans while Izzy and I bust up laughing.
“That wasn’t where I was going with it but now I do.” I toss her a wink.
“What I was going to say was I miss some fucking delicious Mexican food.”
“Hey, it’s the same dreamy look she gets when she talks about Bash’s cock!” Izzy yells.
“I’m done. Get out. I said no mention of Bash, Lorenzo, and Giovanni and yet here you are talking about what I had forbidden, I’m done.” Matt tells us with a disgusted look on his face while tossing down his cards.
“Oh, stop your whining.” I tell him while picking them back up and handing them over.
“But seriously I miss some true delicious Mexican food.”
“Your Italian.” Matt deadpans.
“I know, but I grew up in Arizona. All I’ve had here is Italian food and I’m over it.” I shrug.
“I bet if you said something to Bash he would find a way to get you some.” Mia tells me while shuffling through her cards looking for the next victim in her hand.
“That’s not the point.”
“Sofia to get the kind of food you want that would mean leaving the neighborhood and you know that’s not an option right now.” Matt points out.
“I know, that’s why I’m not saying anything. But that doesn’t mean I can’t dream about the day I can go and gorge myself on it to the point I make myself sick.” I tell them with a dreamy sigh.
“As long as you take us with you when you go.” Izzy tells me.
“I second.” Mia chimes in.
“Hell, why not. Where you go I go.” Matt throws in.
“It’s a date!”
I can’t help but be excited for a day that I have no idea will come but I’m excited nonetheless. While Bash may not be a permanent fixture in my life, I knew that Matt and I would remain friends for the rest of our lives. I just feel this connection to him that I have never felt with any other guy. It isnt romantic. It is more like a brother. I have never had siblings so looking around my group of misfits, I imagine this is what it feels like.
“Alright. Back to the game.” I pull a black card and smirk. “Why am I so sticky?”
“BASH’S COCK!” The girls scream out as Matt groans.
God I love these people.
Bastiano
It has been two weeks and still no sign of Ryan. I am becoming more and more frustrated with both my people and him. Ever since the attack at the restaurant, everything has been quiet. Almost too quiet. It is like he is waiting to pounce when I least expect it.
With Sofia staying at the house, I amped up my security there. I wanted to be sure she would always be 100% protected. The other girls have been following the rules well for the most part. They have come to visit a couple of times, but it seems they found ways to keep themselves busy.
I can’t say the same for Sofia. After day two, she was bored to death. She sat with Matteo every day, but even his conversations couldn’t keep her entertained. I finally brought home some club paperwork and asked her to help me with it. One thing I learned about Sofia, she is a genius when it comes to numbers, whereas I have always struggled with them. She has already found two areas of Crimson where we could be saving money and one error from the accountant. She is proving to be a real asset to the team.
Maybe I would offer her a job for me when this all ended.
I shake the thought out of my head. I have been having more and more permanent thoughts about her recently. The more time we spend together, the more I really like her. Don’t get me started on in the bedroom. It seems my Tesoro is a treasure in and outside the bed. She has blown my mind every day since we started fucking. Last night, she even let me bend her over the balcony while she admired the view from below.
