“There’s so much more I want to do, but I need to be inside you.”
His fingers found my entrance again, pumping lazily in and out of me as he stared into my eyes.
“Logan,” I began to plead again.
“Stay with me tonight.” His voice was gruff as his cock twitched against my inner thigh. So close. “If you can. I need to explore every inch of you.”
I cradled his face in my hands. “I’ll stay with you, Danes,” I whispered. “If only because you keep surprising me with things…I never expected. Or things I learned not to expect.”
And you make me happy.
His fingers pulled out of me gently and gripped my hip. “You, baby. You bring them out in me.”
For the first time since I’d walked through the door, he pulled his eyes off me and reached for his dresser, pulling out a condom. Eyes back on me, he slid it on and I wrapped my fingers around his tatted biceps as he positioned himself over me.
His gaze bore into mine, almost daring me not to blink. “Keep your eyes on me, gorgeous,” he said as he eased himself into me.
Deep.
Deeper.
It didn’t take long for us to find a rhythm as he rocked in and out of me. Each time sliding in harder and deeper.
I bit my lip and felt my eyes flutter closed. God this felt good.
Not the close to coming kind of good. But the never felt anything so incredible in my life kind of good. Being with a man that made me tingle all over kind of good.
I felt it close. “So close.” I wrapped my legs around him, gripping, tightening all over.
He buried his face in my neck and groaned as we reached the top of our rollercoaster and I released a scream I couldn’t control. Louder than I would ever let myself. Louder than I ever thought possible.
We laid there in silence, holding each other. His arms felt right around me. Perfect. As if he knew exactly how to hold me. Or we were just built to fit, Logan and me.
“Would it be cliché to ask what you’re thinking about?”
I nodded. “It would. And I don’t want to tell you.”
Because it’s weird, what I was thinking.
“I bet it’s not as bad as you think.”
“I was thinking…that I’m really glad Jax is at a sleepover tonight.”
He smiled. “Me too.” He traced my chin with his finger. “Now how about you tell me what you were really thinking?”
I laughed. “You ever wonder how two people just seem to fit? Like you can’t imagine them being with anyone else. Because someone else just wouldn’t work right? Like everyone is just a toy made up in a factory and only one other toy will go with it. To make it a complete toy.”
“Like we’re all just puzzles waiting for the missing piece?”
I smiled. “Yeah.”
He chuckled. “No. But I’m liking where your thoughts are going.” He kissed the corner of my mouth. “I want to beallthe missing pieces to your puzzle, Rayne.”
24
We spentmost of the next morning in my bed. Rayne checked in on Jax, and Sam texted that she’d pick him up and to take her time getting back… with a wink.
Rayne pressed her lips together and turned back to find me looking over her shoulder.
