“Dad?” Raso gasped out
“Dom?” Pratt said at the same time.
“Surprise pumpkin. Your men had us flown over the other day. We had to wait until today to surprise you.” Raso’s father stated as he hugged her.
“What he said sis.” Dominick answered, hugging his sister. “See, you both got married in Vegas, a quicky wedding. While we know you two don’t give a rats ass, they both knew that deep down you would have wanted a real wedding for everyone else. So, the plan is for you two to have that dream wedding today, together. We are here to walk you down the aisle.”
Pratt’s eyes watered up ass she looked over at Raso. “I’m so fucking kicking his ass later.”
“I’m right there with you. They are lucky we love their parent’s, or I’d be showing my ass.” Raso agreed, laughing as she high-fived Pratt.
“Alright, well, we’re dressed so we might as well get this show on the road.” Both women said in union, looking around the room.
“Where are the kids?” Pratt asked, worried about her brood.
“Mum has Aurora, while da has Bella. Joe and Marcus are getting the boys dressed in their attire and here comes Ryleigh, now that Anna has helped her into her matching tartan dress.” Elizabeth beamed as Anna and Ryleigh walked into the room where the women were.
“Think your parents would be ok with a double wedding and then a double funeral shortly after?” Raso asked the five sisters-in-law standing around with them.
“Too bad that we didn’t know about this sooner, we could have invited Anya to the wedding so we could fuck with someone.” Pratt murmured to Raso loud enough for Elizabeth and Kaitielyne to hear.
All four women burst into laughter. “Well, I actually think she is here, sitting with the family. I actually think Tommy and Jack are with her to keep Mike and Willie from annoying her to the point of a bloodbath.” Elizabeth announced to the room.
“Oh God! Please tell me you were the one who invited her after finding out what you did?” Pratt begged, clapping her hands together as if in prayer.
“Yeah, actually we did. She came in with us, she stayed at the hotel with ye brother and with Lindsey’s da. She actually came with some news that she said she will tell you after the ceremony.” Elizabeth smirked at the two women, winking at them.
“Yes!” Both women hissed, high fiving each other before composing themselves. “Alright, let’s get this show on the road. I know these little ones won’t be happy for much longer before it’s time for their naps.” Pratt surmised, smoothing down her dress.
“Ye lasses have the wee one here? I’ll go let everyone know we can get everything started.” Anna stated as she walked out of the room and out of the house.
“Ok, so are we going down the aisle together or one at a time? How’s this going to work?” Raso asked the four women standing with her and Pratt.
“The men have worked it out that Lindsey is going down the aisle first since she’s technically the newlywed and then Laura afterwards.” Elizabeth turned around as Polin’s daughter, Isla came into the room in a dress matching Raso’s colors. “Since Ryleigh is the flower girl for her mother, Isla is going to be the flower girl for you, Lindsey.”
“Hi, Isla. Thank you for being my flower girl today.” Raso smiled down at the young girl.
“Can I keep the dress? Mum doesn’t allow us to have many pretty things like she has. I really like this dress.” Isla asked, hope in her eyes.
“I’ll tell you what, princess, after the wedding, I will personally tell your parents that dress is yours and if they have a problem with it, they can deal with me. Deal?” Raso
Isla got excited, jumping and clapping her hands at the same time. “Yay! Thank ye Miss Lindsey.”
Raso and Pratt looked at each other for a few moments before Raso winked at Pratt who winked back. Looking back at the women around them, both women nodded, signaling they were ready for what was next.
Everyone got into position, Isla standing in the front, then Mary Catherine and Catherine in line behind her. Mary Catherine handed Isla a small basket with yellow flower petals, while she handed Ryleigh one with red flower petals, for them to throw down onto the floor as they walk down the aisle.
Strands of“Stand by You”from Rachel Platten started playing as Isla began walking down the aisle. Raso looked back at Pratt, her eyes wide.
“I’m so gonna kill him. If he’s playing that for them to walk down the aisle, I’m fucking petrified of what he’s going to play as I walk down the aisle.” Raso stated, looking between Pratt and her father.
“Do you not like the song?” Dom asked, smirking at Raso, who glared back at him.
“I love the fucking song. Thank God Diesel isn’t here, she’ll rub that shit in for days…” Raso stopped when Dom and her father both coughed, hiding their laughter. “Son of a fucking bitch, she’s here, isn’t she?”
“Um, not sure how to answer that.” Dom hesitated, looking at Jake Raso for assistance.
“You’re a cop, son, man up!” Jake smirked at Dom, refusing to look at either woman.
