"Oh my God!" Sheila gasped as she grabbed a hold of her husband in shock.
"It's not uncommon to find at least one when it comes to teenagers, to be honest. I found two tablets, three journals, and a video recorder that has a video with some audio on it." Pratt informed the room. "Brocard, can you clear it with the Sheriff and the Captain, I'd like to formerly request we bring Tex into the investigation to assist the team where the electronics are concerned. The IT guy we have is going to be pretty overwhelmed with all this."
"I’ll make the request when we get back to the office. Having him on board will help tremendously considering all of his skills." Sgt. Brocard agreed with Pratt. "Lord knows we need all the help we can get where the electronics are concerned right now."
"So, what now?" Sheila asked the room as she looked at each person there.
"Now, we look at everything between the two houses, talk to their friends from school and follow all the breadcrumbs given to us so far." Raso answered Sheila, looking around the room at everyone.
"What about the woman who bumped into me? Those two men who took the girls?" Sheila asked, getting desperate.
"Honey, they are dealing with all of that. Give them time." Eddie whispered into his wife's hair as he pulled her into his arms.
"Sheila," Prat softly whispered as she walked up to Eddie and Sheila, touching her arm. "Tina and Dakota are our main priority. We are doing everything humanly possible to find them. Taz has even called in her friend, Oz, to help us look at things where the electronics are concerned so we don't overburden Tex."
"I know! God, I know you guys are and I'm being unreasonable."
"Stop! No, you aren't. Sweetie, you're a mom who loves her daughter and wants her home safe and sound. There is nothing unreasonable about that. We get it. Shane's relationship with us set aside, Tina and Dakota are ours now, that makes them family. We go to hell and back for our family." Pratt told Sheila, no holds barred attitude in her voice.
"Mom" Shane called out as she stepped out of Pattrick's arms. "I can and will personally voice for how these women will do everything in their power to find Tina and Dakota. They will be there every step of the way like they have always been there for me. You will personally find out why they are called the guardians of hope for those of us who became victims of human sex trafficking."
Alpha Squad, along with Shane and Dominick, requested a meeting with Sheriff Phillips, Captain Irby, Lt. Heil, the forensics IT guy, Cortez's friend Oz, and Tex the next morning. The formal request to bring Oz and Tex into the investigation was met with heartfelt thanks by Woods, Alpha Squad's forensic IT guy. Once the request was approved, without any hesitation by the Sheriff and the Captain, the large group got down to business. Tex, being who he was, was given Ruiz and Eddie's phones and government electronics. Pratt had made the suggestion before Tex could say anything, using the excuse that Tex, being a former SEAL, would have a better understanding what is SEAL related and what wasn't.
A plan was drawn up on how the investigation was to be conducted. Tex was going to help Sheriff Phillips, Captain Irby and Sgt. Brocard arrange a meeting with both Eddie and Ruiz's XO's and their team leaders to keep them in the loop on the investigation. They also suggested bringing in NCIS as backup since both men were still active duty incase Ruiz tried to play the military card.
For two days, Alpha Squad, Shane and Dominick worked round the clock, following every lead they could find, called in every CI they had, kicking in doors, and called in every favor owed to them. Pratt and Dominick swallowed their pride, going to their mother, harassing her and their stepsister Brenda, about Jennifer's whereabouts. They made Shane stay with the team, to lessen the drama they would have to deal with, once their mother found out about Shane. They went to several of her known hangout spots, stalked her known friends, going to her apartment, which she no longer lived in according to the new tenant, and even to her, now, ex-boyfriends place, all with no luck in finding her. Jennifer apparently had cut all ties with everyone and everything since going to her new adventure.
Eddie and Sheila showed up at HQ with several large bags of food and cartons of drinks for the entire team. "Ladies, I understand from several birds you've been burning the midnight oil for the last forty-eight hours. More than likely you haven't ate in that time frame either. So, the wife and I bring substance and drinks for the entire team."
"I know one little birdy that is probably going to get his ass kicked soon." Diesel quipped.
"And who would that be lass?" Highlander asked, walking in behind Sheila with some bags of food in his arms. "Here is some more that was gotten for ye lasses to make sure ye eat."
"Ladies, it's almost six pm. You've been at this for two days now. Have any of you gotten any rest?" Sheila asked the group as Pattrick walked in behind Highlander.
"Knowing them mom, no, they haven't rested." Pattrick ratted the team out.
“Tattletale” Shane mumbled to her husband.
"We'll rest when Tina and Dakota are found or at least something leads us to them." Rameriez grumbled to the well-rested newcomers.
"No, you're going to eat, then go home and get some very much needed rest. I know you guys want to find my girls. But, they need you all rested and sharp." Eddie said, as if speaking to teenagers who were rebellious.
Snake walked up behind Pratt, trying to read over her shoulders at the paper she was looking at. Highlander sat down next to his wife, looking at her with interest. Pratt looked up at both men briefly and then looked back down at her paperwork without saying a word.
"You look like shit, Snake." Pratt mumbled.
"Yeah, you’re one to talk redhead. Like you, I didn't get any sleep last night." Snake smirked.
"She was that good huh?" Pratt commented, still looking at her paperwork.
"Yeah, she was fucking hot, Red. Not hot like you are, but she was hot." Snake laughed, when Highlander growled at Snake.
"Did she do everything you wanted her to do?" Pratt asked, looking at her husband through her lashes, attempting to roll her eyes.
"Oh yeah, and then some. That girl was awesome as fuck."
"Good. I hope you remembered to deflate her after you cleaned the jizz off of the doll." Pratt said without missing a beat, turning the page."
