3:33pm

"I really hope we can talk today." I said to myself, watching myself in the mirror and watching the road simultaneously as I made my way to Dominic's place.

After the long talk with my mother yesterday, I couldn't help but to make it my mission to get back on Dom's good side. Even if we didn't just jump back into being in a relationship, I would be fine if we could just be in communication again. I loved him and I didn't want us apart like this any longer. I wanted to at least try to be friends again.

Looking at the time, I saw that it was 3:33 on the dot. I took that as a sign of good luck considering I caught that time randomly plus today markedour six year anniversary.

I knew today would be an okay day to do this because both of us were already used to seeing each other on this day for the past six years. So I'm sure he was thinking hard about me today as much as I thought about him everyday.

That gave me some type of hope.

Moments later, I was pulling down his block and I saw a bunch of people on the porch. Including women.

Thinking nothing of it, I parked directly behind his car and cut the engine. I couldn't help but to watch as Dej and Zay obviously flirted with the two girls that stood there. I saw Leek as well but he was in his own world. As usual.

"Where is he?" I thought to myself, slowly getting out of the car.

For some reason, I had a lot of energy about this before but now that I was actually here, I was a nervous wreck.

"T?" I heard Zay call me as I smiled small, walking up to them.

"Hey." I waved, looking over to Deja too but she said nothing. She simply looked my way and then went back to talking to the girl she was talking to.

I could feel the random girls looking me up and down as well but I said nothing. I was here for one purpose. No other bullshit.

"What's up, T? How you doin'?" Leek finally looked up and asked.

"I'm fine." I told him, looking down at the ground.

"Do y'all know where he is?" I asked. No reason to beat around the bush, all knew who I was here for.

Zay looked over to Leek then the both of them looked over to Deja.

"What?" She asked, furrowed her eyebrows.

"You know where Dom at, nigga?" Zay asked with a smug smile and she simply laughed.

"Nah, I don't know. I think he went to the store or something." She ended up saying with a smile and I was confused about what the joke was but I figured she was just in her feelings.

Me and her brother were no longer together on the account of me, so she had a right to not fuck with me anymore. That didn't make her any less punchable though.

"Alright. I'll just wait then." I said folding my arms and she shrugged, going back to talking to the girl.

So I stood there for a while listening to the weird conversations they were having with these girls. This was nothing new for my ears but these girls were obviously DTF. And though I didn't judge, I just hoped Dom hadn't been around them.

Moments later, I heard the screen door open and everybody looked up. Quickly my eyes went wide and my heart sunk to mystomach, seeing that it was Dom coming out of the house with a girl right behind him.

"Oh shit, he was here the whole time." Dej laughed as if she didn't know, making Zay and Leek shake their heads.

The girl walked by me as her and her friends began to talk loudly and I couldn't do anything but scold Dominic. I watched as he sat down on the steps carelessly, rolling another blunt as if I wasn't even here right now.

"So you don't have anything to say?" I ended up saying, making everybody go quiet as they looked over at us.

He still hadn't even looked up at me, he only focused on the blunt and by the second he was making me angrier.
