All five men I can see blink wide eyes at me.
"He's your brother, right?"
They nod.
"And you want him back with you, right?"
Another nod.
"And it would be best for him and us if he were here in Ashland before shit hits the fan, right?"
Nod.
So I look to Andrej. "Then you go find him and convince him to come home with you. If he doesn't agree then you take him by force. If we're calling in the other shifters, localizing the people we care about so Cyril can't get to them, then Havok should be included in that and brought to safety as well."
Andrej stands with a firm nod. "Yes, my queen. I will leave at once and shall not return until our brother does so with me."
I smile at him, give him my bestI love you brothersmile and nod. "Good. And though I dig the wholemy queenthing, Posey is sufficient. Hell, I'd even takesisterat this point. Calling me queen just seems so formal."
With another nod and tiny smile, Andrej spins on his heel and disappears upstairs to get ready, I'm sure.
"Thank you, beloved." Kai nuzzles my cheek. "You have no idea what it means to us to find Havok, let alone have the possibility of welcoming him into our home once again."
I turn, give him a kiss and try to remember we aren't alone. "I can tell how much you love him, how much you all love him and miss him. He should be here, and if there is a chance to make that happen then it needs to happen."
"Once he is here, what is left of our family will be complete and it will make me very grateful to you."
I giggle as he kisses my jaw. "You can get started showing me how grateful as soon as—"
My phone lights up and starts vibrating on the table, rapid fire messages coming in one after the next.
Allie:9-1-1!
Casey: What?! What's wrong?!
Grace: Is it Daisy???? Please tell me there is nothing wrong with that sweet little baby!!!!
Allie: I'm in huge trouble.
Allie: Daisy is fine, perfect as usual but we are in trouble, girls, and I don't know what to do!
Casey: What kind of trouble?
Grace: Who do I need to fuck up???
Me: Where is everyone?
Grace: Kady's.
Casey: Also Kady's.
Allie: Sitting in my car bawling with Daisy.
Me: Allie, meet us at Kady's. I'll be there in twenty. Maybe. I'm not sure how long of a drive I have from here but I'm leaving now. Be there soon.
