He took particular care cleaning Linus again—sliding the wipes between Linus’ cheeks, gently cleaning his used, puffy hole. Storm wiped down Linus’ legs too, and every part of his exposedskin. He found some paper towels to mop up the mess on the floor, then cleaned himself and the office chair.
Only then did Storm open the window, emptying half his bottle of scent suppressant into the office.
“It smells better,” Linus said, checking the time. “I hope it’ll clear up by the time my office hours start.”
“I’ll go out and get you a room spray. Hopefully that’ll cover things up a bit more.”
“Thanks.” Linus looked so grateful that Storm leaned in, kissing his forehead gently.
Linus blushed. Storm’s heart missed a beat.
He helped Linus back into his pants, deciding that he would stop by the apartment for a fresh set of Linus’ clothes.
“Be back soon,” Storm said. “Use your desk fan at the window; maybe that’ll get rid of our fuck scents.”
Linus cringed. “Don’t call it that!”
“Better than ‘the smell molecules from my semen and your ass juices.’”
Linus stared at him in horror. Storm grinned and nuzzled his temple. Then he dropped a quick kiss on Linus’ ear, and left the office.

AN ACCIDENTAL DISCOVERY
Storm wason his way out of Linus’ apartment when someone unlocked the front door from the other side.
He froze.
In the four months that he had secretly lived here, Linus had never come home early, save for the day he’d fallen sick.
Linus had been perfectly fine half an hour ago. Not sick. And if he needed something from the apartment, he knew that Storm was just a text away.
So it wasn’t Linus behind the door.
Storm tensed, his pulse ramping up. If Linus’ ex had somehow gotten hold of his key...
The door opened.
It wasn’t an alpha. Instead, it was an older omega around Linus’ age, with blond hair, gray eyes, and a round belly.
Olson. The owner of the Wine Shack, the bar downtown where Storm and his Brothers had been teaching Rex how to fight.
Olson’s gaze locked on him immediately. His eyebrows shot up, and he pinned Storm with a wary look. “What are you doing here?”
Before Storm could answer, Rex stepped into view behind his omega, hackles raised.
“Storm?” Rex frowned and relaxed.
Storm held up the clothes he had gathered. “I was grabbing some things for Linus. I’m heading out now. What areyoudoing here?”
“I’m his best friend.” Olson shrugged.
“Yeah, but—”You’ve never stopped by in all the months I’ve been living here.Storm swallowed those words. He had no right to question Olson. When Olson lifted an eyebrow, expecting him to continue, Storm thought quickly. “He didn’t tell me you were coming by.”
“I usually do before his heats, to make sure he has food before he holes up in here.” Olson waved toward Rex; only then did Storm notice the grocery bags Rex was carrying.
Words warred within him. He wanted to be the one providing for his omega during his heat.
