He waited with his tip lodged inside Linus, slowly pulling out so Linus could squeeze his hole shut the moment Storm left.

“We should’ve brought along a plug,” Storm muttered.

“Next time.”

Storm laughed, a low, rasping sound that curled Linus’ toes. “You liked it that much, huh, sweetheart? Liked being claimed like this?”

Linus blushed. “As long as we don’t get caught.”

His alpha rumbled against his back. “I’m going to fill you up so much. Make sure you’re properly bred.”

“Mmm.” Linus clung to the motorcycle as Storm helped him back into his clothes. He tried to keep himself squeezed shut—not that he was very successful, when Storm had fucked his hole loose. Already, Storm’s come was leaking between his cheeks, soaking his underwear.

“C’mon, let’s get to the motel and check in. It’s been a long day.”

“Longer for you,” Linus pointed out.

“Worth it, though. You’ve made it amazing.”

Linus didn’t have to see his alpha’s face, to hear the warmth in his voice. He ducked his head and hid his smile.

In the morning,Storm filled Linus with a third load before they met his family for brunch.

“What happened to your scents?” Tripp asked, wrinkling his forehead curiously.

Linus’ entire face burned.Oh, gods.

There had been no choice but to use a scent suppressant; Storm had rubbed his cock all over Linus’ face, and smeared his come on several parts of Linus’ body. Linus couldnotmeet Storm’s family smelling that way.

Storm cleared his throat. “They vanished in the night. Don’t think about it. We’ll get our scents back.”

His parents snickered. Tripp stared at them. Then comprehension dawned on his face, and he shot Storm a betrayed look. “Ew!”

“I told you not to think about it!” Storm protested.

“Why would you need...? I thought you’ve already—” Tripp seemed to realize where his questions were heading, and clamped his mouth shut.

Storm turned pink. “One of these days, when you get an alpha, you’ll understand.”

Tripp scowled deeply.

“Just be careful which alpha you pick. It’s impossible to unwind the past,” Linus blurted.

He realized immediately that he shouldn’t have said it. Now all their eyes were on him, full of sympathy. Linus almost gave in to the urge to sink under the table.

Storm wrapped his arm around Linus, squeezing him reassuringly. “Linus is right. Just because you think an alpha is good for you, doesn’t mean they actually are. I’ve heard about too many crap alphas wrecking lives.”

The mood at the table turned subdued after that.

Storm rubbed Linus’ back and tried to tell him it wasn’t his fault, but Linus still felt guilty anyway.

They made a quick exit after breakfast, promising to visit again soon.

“I didn’t mean to ruin the mood,” Linus said as they rode out of town. “You were just reunited with your family.”

“And there will be more chances to see them again,” Storm said patiently. “You did good, warning Tripp.”

“I guess.” Linus couldn’t help remembering Emmy and Aaren’s conversation, and Aaren’s current plight.
