One Heated Summer

Harlyn was well and truly ready for a change after a messy breakup with her cheating ex., so when she inherited Hazy Downs from her grandfather, a run down, sorely in need of love, ranch.
Her plan was to bring the place back to its former glory, sell, and start afresh—Like the saying goes, “the road to heaven is paved with good actions” and she wasn’t afraid of hard work.
What she hadn’t factored into her plan was falling in love with the ranch, a drought crippled town, and a tall, dark, and handsome, rancher neighbor.

When Jenson had seen the beautiful stranger, red-faced and obviously annoyed, intent on kicking hell out of the tires on the old pickup, he’d been amused and couldn’t resist the urge to stop and offer help. In a town like Grantin, Texas, it was probably the only offer she’d get.
Her aggravation when they spoke spiked feelings that intrigued him and when she informed she was a biologist/ecologist back east, interested in finding a way to improve the water situation while she was there, it’s an opening for him to get to know her. No one knew the land like he did and it was an opening his body wouldn’t let him ignore.
As time passes, their passion becomes as heated as the long, hot summer, and before long, the pair know they are meant to be.
But…Will Harlyn make the decision to stay?
Or…Will the decision almost be taken out of her hands?
