Living alone in this cold, cold world was nothing new to Demetric Cole. At the young age of ten-years-old, Demetric found himself motherless, and having no idea who his father was, which resulted in him being abandoned. The start of each day was like preparing for battle. There was no telling what the cruel world would inflict on Demetric at any moment. Their bond gets them through the rough days, and soon they realize that there may be more to their feelings. As long as these two have one another, they have nothing to lose. If they can manage not to get lost in the darkness of night, and the hard life on the streets, they may be able to see deeper into one another, and form a bond that lasts forever.
