My life is busy enough without romance in it. My job is stressful, my parents are overwhelming, and truthfully, I’ve pretty much lost faith in men.
At least, that’s what I thought. Then I met Alex.
Well, more accurately, he walked in on me in a… let’s call it a vulnerable position. Now that the sheer embarrassment of our initial encounter has passed, he is only thing I can think about. It’s like I’m craving him, and this feeling just won’t go away. This is the last thing I need right now, plus my family will never approve.
This match is doomed before it even begins, I just know it.

Walking in on Mina is by far the greatest thing that has ever happened to me, especially at work. It’s also the worst.
She has invaded my every thought, pulling me deeper into the land of hope and imagination. I can’t afford to live there: I’m a nobody. A janitor, for fuck’s sake. Why would she even give me a second thought?
She’s a gorgeous, put-together doctor. She’s out of my league by about a million miles.
