A Month Later.

“Let’s welcome the new CEO of Anderson Corp to give his speech, ladies and gentlemen please a round of applause for Kyle Anderson Jr.”

It’s Kyle’s inauguration ceremony as the new CEO of Anderson Corp, and everyone is here to celebrate with him.

As the whole room erupts with applause and cheers, I can't help but feel a swell of pride for Kyle. All the hard work, dedication, and challenges he faced have led him to this moment—the CEO of Anderson Corp.

He gives me a kiss on my cheek before standing up to walk to the podium. My heart swells so much as I watch him take the stage. That’s my husband, my best friend and confidante. All in one.

As he steps up to the podium, a confident smile plays on his lips. The room gradually falls silent, eager to hear his words. I watch him, my heart swelling with admiration for the man who fought against all odds to secure his place at the helm of the company.

"Thank you," Kyle begins, his voice carrying a blend of humility and determination. "I stand before you today with gratitude in my heart and a commitment to lead Anderson Corp into a future filled with innovation, collaboration, and success."

He speaks with conviction, outlining his vision for the company. It’s a new era for Anderson Corp.

As Kyle continues his speech, I can't help but marvel at the transformation he's undergone—the growth, resilience, and unwavering spirit that brought him to this point.

After Kyle got to find out about James’ involvement in his father’s accident, the evidence Kyle gathered against James proved to be damning, and James was found guilty of attemptedmurder, and he’s currently lounging in prison, and will be there for a long time to come.

His wife got to find out that he had been unfaithful in their marriage all this while, and she divorced him. She relocated to Canada with their two kids to be with her parents.

Looking back, I’m happy that I agreed to my parents’ plan to marry Kyle. These past few months have unfolded into the best chapter of my life.

As I reflect on the months that have passed, I'm grateful for the growth, the laughter, and the challenges that have shaped me. This marriage has given me the space to find my own aspirations, pursue passions, and chart a course that aligns with the person I am becoming.

After thoughtful consideration and numerous consultations with my career advisor whom Kyle found for me and insisted that I go see, I’ve decided that I want to become a fashion stylist.

I’m currently enrolled in online courses on fashion styling and business management, I am determined to build the skills necessary for a successful career in the field.

My newfound expertise has already become a sought-after asset among my friends. Whenever they have events to attend or special occasions, they turn to me for styling advice. It's a role I relish, as I get to express my creativity and help others look and feel their best.

I styled Kyle for this occasion, selecting the perfect suit that compliments his personality and enhances his overall appearance.

I turn to look at my parents who are sitting next to Kyle’s parents at a table not so far from ours. My relationship with my mom has undergone a subtle transformation. We've started to bridge the gap, making an effort to understand and appreciate each other.

Our lunch outings, occurring at least once a week, have become a ritual that helps us reconnect. We talk about everything—life, family, and sometimes, the simple joys of the day.

My dad, too, took a step towards reconciliation. He recognized the mistakes he made, especially in orchestrating my marriage for financial gain. An apology, sincere and heartfelt, marked the beginning of a new chapter. Refusing the money offered by Anderson Sr., my dad sought a loan from the bank to revive the family business. Little does he know that Kyle played a role in facilitating this financial resurgence

Kyle’s father who’s sitting beside his wife nods in agreement to the things that Kyle is saying. He has gotten better over the months and is currently undergoing physiotherapy to help him get his motor movements back.

He’s currently using a wheelchair but the doctors are optimistic about his progress, they say that walking will be a reality once again. Kyle’s relationship with his parents has greatly improved.

As Kyle finishes his speech and steps down from the podium, the room erupts with cheers. He’s smiling as he walks back to our table.

“That was a great speech,” I whisper as he takes his seat beside me. “Thank you very much,” he says kissing my cheek. Ever since we both agreed to give our marriage a real shot, Kyle never fails to show his affection for me no matter where we are or who is present.

“And you look impressive in this suit.” I pick a lint off his jacket. Kyle’s smile widens.

“And I have a certain someone to thank for that.”

“I will send you an invoice.”

Kyle stops what he is about to say when a female reporter approaches our table. “Good evening Mr. And Mrs. Anderson.Do you mind if I interview you for a minute?” The polite reporter asks.

Kyle turns to look at me and I nod in agreement. Kyle turns to look at her saying “Yes, but please make it brief.”
