“We belong together. Ohhh…my God. Knox!”

The water waves and sloshes around us as he drives deeper.

“Say you’re mine.” Harder. Faster. He crashes into me, over and over.

“You own me Knox,” I shudder and moan, “every piece of me.”

“And me?” he asks.

“Jesus, Knox. I’m sooo close,” I whimper.

“I want to…hear it,” He grits out, hitching me up and sliding deeper.

“You’re mine,” I moan, arching into him.

He growls, “Come, baby. Right fucking now.”

I do on a cry, and he follows me over as I clamp and squeeze his cock for everything he’s got.

CHAPTERTWENTY-SIX

WREN

“Knox Madden, everybody,”The MC for tonight’s entertainment booms, and the bar breaks out into applause and catcalls.

We’re in Full Moon, the official Wolves bar, but it’s different from the other times I’ve been here.

Tonight, the place has been closed to the general public and open only to Wolves players and their families, both current and retired.

As far as I can make out, it’s a no-holds-barred get together, with no press, no fans, and no expectations, other than to have a good time as a team.

Apparently, it started a few years ago when the owner, a retired Wolves player, heard some of the boys griping that they always needed to be “on” and that the only place they ever felt like they could be themselves was at each other’s houses.

Karl, said owner, put this together, with the help of Rex, Knox’s good friend and the Wolves’ goalie.

There’s a makeshift stage, rigged with lights. The TV’s usually playing games, highlights and sports news sit blank until the next name is called and the lyrics of their chosen song run along the screen.

“Listen to the words baby,” Knox whispers into my ear, right before he smacks a kiss on my lips and then jogs towards the stage.

“Ugh, I really missed this last year,” Chloe says, “It’s so much fun.”

She turns to me in her seat, “The team’s schedule just didn’t allow for it. I’m so glad you’re here for this one though.”

Along with Anna and Coralie, she’s become a wonderful new addition to my budding girlfriend group. It was easy to fall back into my friendship with Jenna, especially after she knew the truth, but I feel extra lucky to now have five incredible women in my life.

“Okay, okay calm down,” Knox laughs into the mic with the charisma of a seasoned performer—which he isn’t, “This won’t be my only song.”

His friends chirp, yelling for him to just get on with it and stop hogging the mic.

Turns out thisbe yourself nightconsists of a lot of lite beer, a lot of karaoke, anda lotof ribbing.

“So, as you all know, a few months ago my big bro bagged himself a wife. A round of applause for the beautiful Anna. Let’s hear ya!”

The bar erupts again, and Anna, who is sitting beside me, slinks further into her chair while our table hoots and hollers and Casey kisses her hair.

“Anyway, them deciding to elope didn’t give us much time to organize anything special. If I’d known even a week beforehand, I would have prepared a little something for them for the reception, so I thought I’d do it now.”

Knox steps over to the mic stand and places it in its little holder.
