“I’ll hold you on to that promise, Daddy.”

EXTENDED EPILOGUE

ETHAN

“Last one to reach the shore washes the dishes!” Everett roars, already down the porch.

“You’re cheating!” Emmett yells, taking off his shoes and scrambling to catch up to his twin brother.

“Ugh. So annoying,” Elise mumbles as she folds her towel and places it on the chaise lounge. She walks to me and hands me a bottle of orange juice. “Can you please open this for me, Dad?”

“Sure thing, princess,” I say and twist off the cap.

“Thank you!” she says as she heads to the blanket sprawled under a giant umbrella, one hand holding the bottle and the other busy typing on her phone.

“You know, I still think she’s too young to have a phone,” I tell Emily, who’s wearing a crimson red one-piece bikini that hugs all her curves. Jesus Christ. I’m wearing beach shorts, and if I get a boner right now, it won’t be easy to hide.

“Awww. Already getting jealous?” she smiles. That smile still makes lust fog my brain. Everything she does actually. She can be bending over to pick up the toys or standing on her toes as she reaches for something on the top shelf and her dress hikes up. My wife is a walking wet dream.

“Yes. She should enjoy the beach and not be on her phone,” I grumble.

“She’s not texting anyone if that’s what you’re worried about. She’s actually just picking a song to listen to.”

We both turn to our daughter, and true enough, Elise is lying on the blanket, with her small speaker playing one of those songs that give me a pounding headache.

We’re on our quarterly vacation in Greece. Before the boys were born, I took Emily here and she loved it so much—the views, the beaches, the food, and the people. So of course I had to buy her a house. Whatever she wants, she gets.

It’s a waterfront villa built in the 1960s. Crystal clear turquoise waters in front and pine forest at the back. It’s within walking distance of the center of the village, small shops, and a market.

This is where we go when we want someplace sunny and warm. The kids love it here. But my wife even more so.

My favorite part? The privacy. When the kids are in bed, Emily and I like to sneak out to the pool and make out, like we’re a bunch of teenagers doing something prohibited.

“What?” she asks and I realize I’ve been stripping her naked in my mind…again.

“Nothing,” I smirk.

“I know, okay? I know I don’t look as good as I did before I got pregnant. I can never fit in those pre-pregnancy jeans ever again,” she sighs.

With my back to the kids so they can’t see, I grab Emily and press her to my rock-hard member, filling my hand with her ass and massaging them, making her breath hitch. “Don’t you dare talk like that about yourself. What do you mean you don’t look good? I like everything I see. And have I ever told you how much I love these curves and how I can easily get rougher with you in bed without fear of breaking you? Christ, baby girl. You don’t know half of what you do to me.”

She pulls back a little to scrunch her forehead and eye me skeptically. “Really? Even now?”

Growling, I pull her flush to my body so she can feel my erection poking her stomach. “You know what? I feel insulted you don’t believe me. So brace yourself, little girl. You’re getting punished. And if you–”

Emily and I turn our heads in unison toward Elise who’s screaming, jumping up, and chasing the twins.

“He told me to do it!” Emmett points to his brother, choking on laughter.

“I didn’t, El! I swear! It’s all him!” Everett counters.

Emily chases them both and trips, falling flat on her face. My protective instinct kicks in and I almost run to her, but she raises her head and laughs loudly. The twins join in, and we watch our three kids rolling on the sand, laughing.

“I don’t think I’ve ever really thanked you, Daddy,” Emily whispers.

“Thank me for what, baby girl?” I say, turning to look at her and running the pad of my thumb along her jaw.

“For everything. For this. For our kids. For how you changed my life. And for how you always put us first.”

“My family is my priority. You should know that by now. You always come first. Always.”

“This is why I love you,” she breathes as I lower my mouth to hers.

“And I love you, baby girl. Now and forever.”

The End.
