I sneak into my room, not wanting to wake Lissa up. Her bedroom door is closed, and I know she is sound asleep behind it. She’ll surely be up early, and I’ll definitely head to the store with her in the morning since I Ieft her all alone today.
Thoughts from today come crashing back to the front of my mind and I bite down on my lip. Damn, I would love to do that all over again. Wait, let me rephrase that. I would love to do Zander all over again.
I chuckle to myself as I close my bedroom down behind me and undress. I strip down to my bra and panties, and right before I toss my clothes into the hamper, I take a whiff of my shirt. It smells just like Zander and a tingling sensation forms at my core. Damn Zander, what are you doing to me?
I plop into bed and as I scroll through our last conversation in the text messages, I come across a picture of him he had sent me a couple of nights ago. It’s of him dressed in his firefighter’s uniform. Fuck, he looks so good. And now that I know exactly how he looks out of it, I can’t wait to strip him out of his clothes once more.
Seconds later, my phone vibrates, indicating a new message. It’s Lissa. Shit, I hope I wasn’t too loud walking in.
Lissa: You made it home :) Hope you had a great day!
Fuck yes, I did. I can’t hide the smirk on my face, but it doesn’t matter because she can’t see me right now. Instead of giving her all the naughty details right now, I focus on the other part of today that I can’t deny.
Serenity: Sorry! I didn’t mean to wake you. It was a truly remarkable day. I’m so happy, Lissa. Zander makes me so happy.
Lissa: I know, and I can tell. I’m happy for you. And Ren?
Serenity: Yeah?
Lissa: I know you are totally in love with him. Go easy, okay?
A little late for that. I feel like I’m already head over heels in love with him, and now that we had sex, I don’t think there’s any going back.
Serenity: Am I that obvious?
Lissa: YES! LOL
Serenity: Wow LOL, ok. And yes, I will go easy, I promise.
A lie, but how can I tell her just yet? Now is not a good time to get into this, anyway. I know she’s looking out for me because of everything that happened with Walter, but still. Things with Zander are moving fast, and still, I wouldn’t want to change it for the world.
Lissa: Good! Now get to sleep! I missed you at the store today.
Serenity: I’ll be there in the morning, don’t you worry. Good night, big sis.
Lissa: Good night, l’il sis.
I place my phone on the nightstand, and not even three seconds later, it vibrates again. Lissa must have forgotten to tell me something.
But to my pleasant surprise, it’s Zander.
A big smile pulls on my lips.
Zander: Hi, beautiful :)
Serenity: Hi, love :)
Zander: Just wanted to let you know I had a fantastic day with you today. I can’t wait to do it again. All of it. I can’t stop thinking about you and how good you felt. Damn baby, I wish I was still inside of you, hearing you scream my name all over again.
Fuck, he just made me drench my panties.
Serenity: I wish you were, too! You made me feel so good; it was completely amazing! You are so wonderful and damn, you’re so good and know what to do with, well, everything lol.
Zander: LOL so do you, gorgeous ;)
Serenity: Seriously though, I am so grateful to have met you.
Zander: You are the ray of sunshine I had been missing out on for so long now. Thank you for being you.
