I follow the man and find myself in an office. Everything in this room is dark and made of wood. There’s a large desk sitting in the middle of the room with a mess covering the top of it. All sorts of papers, ashes from his overpriced cigars, and a ton of pens litter the surface. My eyes stop on the laptop currently open as I try to figure out if this is something I need to get my hands on or not. I’m sure we could gain all sorts of information about this fucker from his laptop. However, that’s not where my attention needs to be right now.

“So, what have you come to discuss regarding Vincent?” LaRusso asks, pouring himself a drink and not offering me one.

“Do you know where your son is right now?” I question him, keeping a close eye on the man so I know if he’s lying or not.

“I don’t track my son’s whereabouts. So, no, I don’t know where he is,” LaRusso states, his voice coming out harsh as he takes a seat across from where I stand.

“He’s in Braedon. My fuckin’ town. The fuckin’ coward just put his ex in the hospital for a few days and I’m lookin’ for him,” I inform Vince’s dad as he turns his attention to me with interest now filling his eyes.

“And why would he be chasing that bitch? I know she took off and stole from him when she did. I mean, if he’s after his money, than I really can’t blame him. I’m no longer giving him money so he needs to get it from somewhere,” LaRusso says, making my blood boil with how he’s dismissing the fact that Kelsey was hurt. “I’ve made my son aware of how he’s to act and what I expect of him. Since he can’t do a simple task as I ask him to, he’s no longer in my good graces.”

“That’s all good for the two of you. However, Kelsey didn’t fuckin’ steal a damn thing from him. The money she took to get away was what he’s taken from her over the years. Her parent’s insurance money, the trust funds he’s tryin’ to make her sign over to him, and whatever else he’s taken from her over the years,” I growl out, my anger rising with the need to tell this fucker what his son is truly up to.

“You’re lying. Vincent told me she blew through her parent’s insurance money and came crying to him for more. Got a nasty drug habit and she can’t stop herself from doing whatever it takes from getting her fix,” LaRusso states, believing his son’s lies.

I don’t stop the laughter from escaping me. See, we’ve got all sorts of evidence against Vince and what he’s really doing behind the scenes. Shit I know his father doesn’t know a damn thing about.

“That’s fuckin’ rich. Your son stole her fuckin’ money before she even figured out what she was gonna do with it. Kelsey doesn’t have a drug problem either. Vince sure as fuck does though. And he uses your fuckin’ name to make sure he gets what he wants when he’s rippin’ off drug dealers. Your precious boy has gotten quite a few enemies chasin’ after his ass. Just like I know you have when it comes to the Rossi family. See, Sal is a close, personal friend of mine. Of the club I belong to. If I take the information I have on Vince to Sal, then he’s got more than enough ammunition to come for your ass,” I taunt LaRusso while still spilling the truth about a reality he knows nothing about.

“What the fuck are you talking about? Vince hasn’t done a damn thing. Especially when it comes to the Rossi family,” LaRusso says, interest filling his eyes.

“Oh, but he has. See, the dealers he’s rippin’ off belong to the Rossi family. They know it’s happenin’ but haven’t managed to get the proof they need it was him. I have the proof they’re desperate to get their hands on. Kelsey is bein’ protected by the club and I will do everythin’ in my power to ensure your son doesn’t come near her again. He’s also gonna sign away his rights to her son. None of you will ever get close to him for any reason. I’ve got copies of everythin’ I’m about to show you and the videos I’ll play for you. There’s no way out of this for either one of you,” I inform him, pulling out the folder I have with all the copies of everything inside it.

Showing LaRusso the information I have reveals his true nature. His face pales with every new thing he sees. The pictures of Vince with underage girls, drugs all over the table in front of him as he leans over to snort a line, fucking prostitutes and abusing the fuck out of them. I’ve also included pictures of the abuse he’s done to Kelsey. Every single bruise and cut she’s ever had on her body from the sick fuck. The videos show him talking shit about his father and the way he runs his businesses. Of him ripping off the drug dealers and telling the girls he’s fucking they’re pieces of shit and should be thankful they’re riding his cock. Each piece of evidence against Vince is more damning than the last one. The last thing I show him is the last attack against Kelsey where he’s spewing a ton of shit about the money in her trust funds and her sticking up for herself for a few seconds.

“That lying little fucker. Do what you gotta do with him. He’s no longer a son of mine. Vincent is on his own. Make sure he signs whatever you need him to and I can assure you none of us will get anywhere near her or her son. To think he’s been using my family name to his gain and malicious needs,” LaRusso states, anger showing on his face as he downs his drink and slams the glass so hard on his desk it shatters. “And I trust none of this will get to Sal or anyone else from the Rossi family?”

“As long as you assure me there will be no blowback for killin’ your piece of shit son and stay away from Kelsey and her son, I won’t let any of this be turned over to Sal. The first sign of you comin’ anywhere near Braedon or anywhere she chooses to go, and I’ll turn everythin’ over. And it should go without sayin’ you don’t come near the Knight’s Rebellion either. Anyone associated with the club, ol’ ladies, kids, the members are all off fuckin’ limits. They will never know what I’ve done from you and the same promise remains. You come anywhere near any of us and I’ll make sure Sal has everythin’ he needs to take your ass out. I’ll even fuckin’ help him for no charge,” I promise the man in front of me.

“I can assure you I have no use to go anywhere near that bitch,” he says, making me even angrier. “And do what you must to Vincent. He’ll know in a matter of minutes he no longer has access to his accounts. I’m freezing his money now and it’s going to piss him off. Make sure she’s protected unless you want him to kill her. He will do it.”

“And you’ll stop talkin’ shit about her as well. You don’t know who she is or anythin’ about her. Other than the fact your son was fuckin’ her and beatin’ the shit outta her. Yeah, we know you’re the one he learned those lessons from. Beatin’ your wife daily and cheatin’ on her as if she’s nothin’ more than a fuckin’ doormat,” I manage to get out through gritted teeth.

Gathering everything back up in my hands, I put it all in the folder and slide it in my cut for safe keeping. With a nod of my head, I leave the office and head straight for my bike. Jefferies is nowhere to be found this time as I walk down the steps. The guards all stare at me as I straddle my bike and start the engine. I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t rev the engine a few times creating all sorts of chaos. The sound echoes off the house and small out buildings causing the guards to flinch as they raise their weapons in my direction. They can take their best fucking shots. Pulling out, I leave the LaRusso house behind and head back home.

Chapter Fourteen

FOR THE LAST two weeks I’ve been keeping Brent with me. Bronwan and Talon have offered to watch him for me when I’m working, but I refuse. Knowing Vince is here in Braedon means I can’t let my son out of my sight for any reason. Especially since my fucker of an ex has already threatened to take him from me only to sell him off to the highest bidder. I don’t even want to think about what that means. So, anywhere I am, Brent is with me. I’m sure no one understands why I’m doing this, but if they knew everything I’ve been through over the years with Vince, they might be able to understand. Hell, the women of the club probably understand more about my situation than anyone else ever could. While I don’t know their stories, I’ve heard whispers about them and what they’ve been through.

I also can’t seem to get Death out of my head. It’s even worse than before. Never in my life did I believe I would like being fucked against a wall when neither one of us were naked. I’ve also had sex in a bed. Vince climbing on top of me and rutting away for a minute or two before pulling out and leaving the room I stayed in alone. To have Death completely manhandle me and fuck me raw the way he did is something I dream about nightly. Most of me wants him to show up to the apartment and do it again. I don’t even care where he fucks me again as long as I feel his long, thick, hard cock buried deep in my pussy.

Shaking my head, I grab Brent’s diaper bag and make sure it’s ready for the day. Even though it’s Sunday, a day Jaelyn and I agreed we’d remain closed to the public, I want to make sure the shop is cleaned from top to bottom. It needs it. I’ve been doing the bare necessity and can barely stay on top of things. I’m so damn tired every day and it’s honestly all I can do to get through each day with my eyes open until I get back to the apartment and put Brent in his crib for bed.

I’ve had three more catering jobs since the first one and they’ve all been a huge success. The second party I did was a little girl’s birthday party and she was over the moon to see everything I put together for her fairy themed party. Especially her cake. I made a sheet caked covered in vines, a fairy house, flowers, and a few fairies she could take off to play with. I’m just glad the party was earlier in the day so I wasn’t out late at night. That’s honestly the only time Brent isn’t with me. I can’t bring him to an event with me. Bronwan gets him the last second before I leave and I head straight to her house to pick him up once I’m done. I don’t even bother taking the pans and other things I bring with me back to the shop until the next day.

As soon as I have everything packed up and ready to go, I grab Brent from his playpen and we head out. Shank and Talon are with me today.

“Where are you headin’?” Talon questions me, watching me strap Brent into his car seat in the SUV.

“To the shop. It needs a thorough cleaning since I haven’t been able to do one with everything going on. I don’t want Jae to show up and find it totally trashed. I’m supposed to be keeping up with everything and it’s not happening. She’s going to be so disappointed in me,” I tell him honestly as I close the back door and head for the driver’s seat.

Talon and Shank get on their bikes and I watch Talon on his phone for a few seconds before he slides it back in his pocket and we all take off. We all make it to the shop without being followed or getting stuck in traffic. While I’m here, I’m going to get ahead on tomorrow’s baking and make sure the guys eat and have coffee to drink. Personally, I feel it’s too damn cold to be riding their bikes as a chill fills the air, but not these guys. They will ride no matter what. Well, unless there’s snow and ice on the roads. Then they have no choice but to be in a cage of some kind. All terms I’ve learned from Jae and Bronwan since I know nothing about motorcycle clubs and how the men in them act.

After unlocking the doors of the shop and putting Brent down in his playpen, I head straight for the coffee machine. It won’t take me long to brew a pot of coffee for the guys and make myself a hot chocolate. As the coffee brews, I head to the kitchen and take inventory of what I’ve got on hand and what needs to be made. Most of the candy has been devoured over the last week as I’ve been selling it by the pounds. Men and women come in all day long and take an assortment of the recipes Jae has spent years perfecting. Then I move onto the baked goods. We don’t have a ton of those left either. I’ll have my work cut out for me today.

I begin cleaning the kitchen once I’ve gotten the guys their coffee and a few of the baked goods. With a bucket of soapy water and a scrub brush in hand, I start with the walls on the kitchen. I scrub them from top to bottom, using a ladder to reach the very tops and going to the bottom before moving on to the next section of the wall. I go over everything in the kitchen before making my way out to the floor to clean and organize the counters and display case. Talon is inside sitting at a table as I bend down behind the counter. Images of Vince showing up and beating the shit out of me invade my mind.

“Kelsey, where are you?” Bronwan’s voice calls out from the main floor as I try to get up off the floor where I’ve sat down.
