Keaton eyes me suspiciously. “I’m not alurker.”

I raise my hands in surrender. “If yousay so.”

Laura grabs my shoulders. “Someone shotat you?”

“Oh that, well, uh—kind of. It was amisunderstanding.”

I reach over and hit the partitionbutton. Keaton eyes me again but doesn’t say anything. “Do you still want to goto the club?” I clasp Laura’s hand.

“Hell yes!” Laura waves her other hand atme.

“Okay, well…” I bite my lip. “Cole andcompany may freak out when they hear what happened and make us leave. I textedhim and he said they were still wherever they were. We’re going to beat themthere.”

“So you mean we need to drink and dancebefore Keaton tells Cole?”

“Yep.”

“I can do that.”

Keaton and Morgan take us around throughthe back entrance and follow us in. “Which do you want to do first, drink ordance?” I ask.

“Drink.” Laura makes a beeline for thebar.

“Hey Derek, can we get two chocolate cakeshooters?” I lean over the bar, yelling at him. He nods, acknowledging that heheard me. A few minutes later, he places two shots on the table. “Hey, will yougive us two of those, um—other drinks next and you can keep them coming?”

He chuckles, understanding what I want.“No problem.”

I pick up my drink and turn to Laura, whohas downed hers. She grabs mine from my hand, drinking it. “Okay, I’m feelingbetter.”

“Well, that’s one of us.” I pout eyingthe empty shot glass.

“What other drink did you order?”

“Oh—um, it’s called…” I lean closer toher, whispering. “A blow job.” Right on cue, Derek sits two in front of us. Ilean over my drink, taking it in my mouth and let it drain down my throat. “Andthat’s how you drink it.”

“Wow, just wow.”

“Thanks Derek.” Laura drains her drinkand Derek puts two more in front of us. After my third shot and Laura’s fourth, not counting the ones we had at the strip club, I’m buzzing and feeling prettygood.

“Let’s dance.” Laura drags me out intothe middle of the hot dance floor. There’s something about the music, lights, and even all these people dancing around that’s mesmerizing. I love it. I closemy eyes, raising my hands, letting them sway back and forth in the air. I feela bump and open my eyes. Laura is dancing in front of me. I lower my arms, resting my hands on her hips. I spot Race in the background; he drifts throughthe crowd until he’s behind Laura. He places his hands below mine. Laura givesme a wary look. I smile reassuringly and let go of her.

I spin around, letting the beat carry meaway. If Race is on the dance floor, Cole isn’t far behind. Soon enough, I feelwarm breath on my neck. Followed by the hint of cedar and mint and somethingspicy. Cole wraps his arm around my waist. “Cookie,” he whispers over my neck, sending delectable sensations down my body.

“Cole.” I turn in his arms, wrapping themaround his neck. He pushes my hips into his and we grind together. “Oh,” Iexhale, feeling electric. Cole nuzzles his nose along my neck.

“You are so beautiful, baby. I’m theluckiest man alive.” His hands slip under my dress. He spins me around and thentakes my hand, leading me off the dance floor. He doesn’t say anything, justleads me back to the office, ushering me inside. It’s dark. The only light asmall lamp on the desk. He flips the lock and I’m pushed up against the wall.Cole covers his mouth with mine, his tongue delving inside, consuming me. Hegrinds his hard manhood into me, and I moan, breaking the kiss.

“I need you baby.” He kisses up my neck.He undoes the hooks on my dress, but I still his hands.

“Cole,”

“Cookie.” Cole walks me over to the smallloveseat, never taking his eyes off me, sitting down. He entwines our fingers.“Straddle me.” I climb on, kneeling on either side of his hips. I lower myhead, kissing him. He tries to tangle his hands in my hair. “Your damn hair.”His fingers massage the back of my neck. I run my hands down his chest, pushinghis jacket off. His hands run up my thighs. I still when his fingers run alongmy new pair of underwear. “And here I thought I had your panties in my pocket.”

“I went shopping.”

“Tsk, tsk.” He pulls my dress up, lookingat the skimpy underwear. He twirls one of the little bows on the side in hisfingers. “Cute.”

“I thought so.”
