Burning.

Hot.

Searing.

Desire.

Her Mark.

“That’s it, baby.” She heard him distantly as he started to really pound into her.

One.

Two.

Three thrusts later and he stilled, a deep groan leaving him as his shoulders started to shake.

“Fuck, little bird,” he muttered as he let her down. Her body slowly sliding against his, as he slid out of her, a moan leaving him this time at the loss.

He turned his back to the wall, taking her with him, so she was propped up against him.

She turned her head back up to look at him.

“You okay?” She laughed, and he scowled at her.

“Don’t laugh at me.”

His words only made her laugh harder.

“I’m too old for this shit,” he muttered wrapping his arms around her and drawing her up to him.

“You’re only what, twenty something?” she asked reaching up and fingering his hair.

“Thirty,” he muttered back watching her and she paused.

“Oh.” She smiled at him. “You are old,” she teased.

“You little shit,” he muttered, and leaned down his nose going to her shoulder and kissing along the edge to her neck, before leaning back. His endless blue eyes surrounding her.

“I love you, little bird.”

She tilted her head back, gazing up at him. The love he had for her shining back at her, hitting her in her chest, her heart squeezing. She reached up fingering the long strand of his hair. It was almost to his shoulders now.

God she was so lucky.

“I love you too.” He would never know just how much.

Her Mark.
