“I love you, Winter.” He leaned forward and kissed her gently. Brushing his lips against hers, the flames of desire that she didn’t think she would be able to handle again, slowly rose up nicking at her.

“Thank you for giving me you,” he whispered.

Then he pulled her into him, into his chest where all she could see, feel, and smell was him.

Her Mark.

“You need to get cleaned up, baby,” he whispered after a little while.

“I know.” She had read somewhere that after sex woman should always go to the bathroom and clean up, but she didn’t want to move.

“Just a little longer.”

He hesitated, then whispered, “okay.”

Her Mark.

The early morning sun was just starting to come through the window when he slid back into the bed. His arm wrapping around her as he slid in behind her, and she smiled. His head went to her neck kissing his way up to her ear and she could smell the faint smell of coffee on his breath.

After last night she didn’t think anything could be better than that, but he had just proved her wrong. Waking up with him, feeling him behind her, and knowing that it wasn’t just a passing moment, that he was here to stay, it was almost just as good. Mark was everything that she had ever dream she could have and more.

“What are you smiling at?” he whispered against her shoulder. His lips running along the edge.

“Hmm,” she murmured, snuggling back further into him, his arms holding her tighter, his hips pressed against her.

“How are you feeling this morning?”

“I’m good,” she said quietly, but that wasn’t enough for him. He pulled her shoulder back, sliding over her, his hip fitting right between her legs as desire flared inside of her. She arched up to him as his head bent to her neck, his lips trailing a fire.

“In the last year I’ve seen you grow from a woman that was beaten down to a strong beautiful woman. One that I was mesmerized by. One that I thanked my lucky stars that I get to be a part of her world. But last night little bird …” He paused his head coming up till their eyes met.

His blues staring back at her, an intensity to them, full of love shining back at her.

“Last night little bird, watching you give yourself to me. Knowing the honor, you were trusting me with, it was the best night of my life.” Tears sprang to her eyes as she tried to hold it together.

His words hitting her deep in her soul.

“I love you,” he whispered, his lips finding hers, as he reached down while sliding her shirt up. At the same time that his hips slid between hers and she arched into him again. Moaning as he slid in deep.

“God you feel so good.” He moaned.

She grabbed his shoulder, needing something to hold on to as he began thrusting, slowly drawing it out for both of them, till they were both breathing hard and on the edge.

“Please,” she whispered.
