“Okay, little sis,” Tory whispered, and she felt the car speed up.

She was looking out the window, the scenery flying by as her tears fell.

She was only grateful that they couldn’t see.

He didn’t know how much more he could take.

His back was torn to shit from the whip.

But he knew that something worse was coming.

They had left him alone for the moment. And that could only mean something bad, something worse was coming.

Out of all the situations that he had been in, this was how he had always thought he would go. Retaliation over something he did for the Familia.

And it was.

But it was so much more.

Even knowing that this was the end, that more pain was coming, more torture, he wouldn’t have changed anything.

So he let his body sag.

Ignored the pain in his arms strung up above him.

Ignored his bloody wrists.

Ignored the blood trickling down his legs from the cuts on his back.

Ignored the cuts flayed over his body.

Ignored the cold.

Ignored it all and let his mind drift.

Drift to a place where he was home.

Home with his little bird.

Her lightness surrounding him. Her body spread out before him. Her moans as he slid insider her. Her smile as she looked up at him. The joy on her face when he wrapped his arms around her.
