“Holy shit you did it!” Danny called out, laughing and clapping.

“That was pretty good,” Rick said, getting to his feet, a small smile on his face.

“Pretty good! You are like seven feet tall! I’m a mouse compared to you! And I took you down!” she shouted, doing a little happy dance as both Danny and Rick laughed at her.

“I wish Mark could have seen that!” she said trying to not let it get her down.

He had reluctantly agreed to her working with Rick, however he had a hard time watching. The first time that Rick had landed her on the mat, she had almost had a panic attack and he had lost it.

To the point that Danny and Dominic had to drag him out.

“Don’t worry doll I got it on camera.” Danny chuckled, typing away on his phone.

“You what?” Rick scowled his head flying to Danny.

“Hah! Give me that,” she said, turning to Danny.

“Already sent to ya doll.” Danny smirked at Rick, pocketing his phone.

“Yes! I’m going to go find him,” she said jogging to the edge of the mat.

“I think he is with Branson. They had the fire chief coming to look at the cabin today.”

They were leaving tomorrow, so she knew that along with the meeting with the fire chief, he was hoping to spend a little time with Branson. They didn’t know when they would be back.

The man that was hunting them was still out there.

“That’s why I was coming here,” Branson piped up from the door.

“Hey, Branson!”

“Hey there, sweetheart! Good tackle!”

“Fucker,” Rick muttered, and Branson chuckled.

“Thank you!” she said, and Branson sent her a wink.

“You guys seen Mark?” A cold feeling filled her at Branson’s words.

“What?” she whispered.

“He was supposed to meet me at the cabin, but he never showed.” Branson hadn’t even finished his words before Rick and Danny were running out of the room.

She started after them slowly, her speed quickening as dread filled her, with Branson following her.

“What’s going on?” she cried out, as they rounded the corner headed for the dining room and kitchen.

Nobody answered her as Danny flew to the computer yanking up the lid of the laptop viciously.

“Come on you stupid piece of shit,” Danny muttered. All three of them crowded around the table watching anxiously as the computer slowly loaded.

Dominic came in the doorway and paused at the sight of them, instantly becoming alert.

“What’s going on?”

“Mark was supposed to meet me at the cabin and didn’t show,” Branson said worriedly.

“Fuck!” Dominic jogged over to the computer.
