None of the other scientists I work with had any luck, either. We consulted with each other, checked other serums, and put in countless hours trying to make our serum stand out against all of the other competitors. Nothing seemed to work. Everything we tried was either already on the market, or it didn’t make it through the first phase of testing.

AJB-9 was a last ditch, angry effort to make the stupid product work. It was getting late in the lab, and I was annoyed and frustrated. I wanted to give up on Blake Cosmeceuticals altogether. All of the other scientists had long gone home. It was just me and AJB-8.

In my anger, I decided to give the AJB elixir a final sendoff. I jerked off and put a few drops of my semen into the test tube.

It was a stupid thing to do. I was just trying to say “fuck you” to the product that was giving me all kinds of trouble.

I never expected the semen to change the elixir entirely.

It wasn’t much at all, but the elixir took on a new life with the addition of my come.

Suddenly, every issue I’d had with the first eight versions disappeared.

One of our main issues was the consistency. We’d struggled to come up with something that was effective but would also dissolve into a woman’s skin without leaving a trace. With the addition of my semen, the elixir did just that.

Based on Amber’s observations, the serum makes her skin look dewy but refreshed when she first uses it. That’s exactly what we wanted the serum to do. So many complaints about other products is that women can still feel the serum after they’ve applied it. What they want is something that soaks in and makes them look good but doesn’t feel like anything.

Somehow, my semen made our serum do just that.

It was a miracle I couldn’t share with anyone. That’s why the product came with me to the convention. I couldn’t leave it in the lab. If any of the other scientists ran a test on it, they would find out what I did.

Briana only found out by accident. She started to put the elixir on the table, and I stopped her in a panic. When I gave her a bogus reason why I didn’t want the serum placed on the table, she didn’t buy it. We use conventions as places to start the trial process all the time.

I was dying to tell someone what I did. The secret was eating me alive. I finally caved and admitted the secret ingredient to Briana.

She was disgusted and angry at first. Over the course of the day, she started to calm down. I know she’s not pleased with what I’ve done, especially because if it becomes public knowledge, the entire company is in jeopardy, but she’s not as mad at me now. At least there’s that.

I take a bite of my cold pizza and chew it slowly. My mistake could cost me my company and so much more.

The legal aspect had occurred to me originally, but I wasn’t concerned. I figured I could talk myself out of any potential problem.

Turns out, it won’t be that easy. In order to approve the product, the FDA needs a full ingredients list. If I give them that, they’ll have my head on a platter.

When Mike asked me if what I did was illegal, I told him it wasn’t. Now that I’ve looked more into it, I think I might have lied to him.

Holy shit. I could get into so much trouble for adding my semen to a product. It’s completely wrong. I could lose my medical license, and that’s the best-case scenario. The worst-case scenario is that I end up in prison.

It would’ve been fine if I hadn’t shared the elixir with anyone. There’s no law against experimenting. I could’ve left the serum in the lab or thrown it away.

I would have disposed of it, but the serum was clearly better with my semen. I thought I could work around the laws somehow. Keep the secret ingredient a secret.

Then I went and gave the serum to Amber. I should’ve listened to Briana when she told me that was a bad idea. She’s usually my voice of reason. A young medical student, Briana knows a lot about the business already. She started as an intern in marketing because she wants to get a feel for all aspects of the cosmeceutical business, but I quickly hired her on as an assistant in marketing and development. She has been an invaluable member of my team.

I really should have listened to her.

The worst part is the serum is working. Amber’s enthusiastic response and my own examination of her skin proves that the elixir has benefitted from the addition of my semen. AJB-8 did nothing to help heal damaged skin. The only difference between it and number nine is the secret ingredient.
