"He punched him in the bathroom."
"Is that why he had a busted lip?"
"Yeah. Finn took the focus off me by talking shit to your brother. He sucker punched him twice."
Throwing my head back, I laugh. I can see Max now, fists clenched at his side, angry scowl on his face. Finn smiling down at him, an evil gleam in the corner of his eye. Finn knew exactly what he was doing that day. He was giving Max an outlet for his anger.
"If that's the worst he's gonna do, you'll be fine. Plus, I'll nurse you back to health."
Leo's hand slides toward the hem of my dress as he grins at me.
"I like the sound of that. We should eat and get out of here. I'm not feeling so well and only you can cure me."
Swatting at his hand, I turn in the booth and pick up my fork, but I can't hide the smile on my face. Because I want to take care of him. And I want to be the only one.
I just have to find the perfect moment to tell him that he's my only one.
