“I caught Jade trying to access my laptop; she was going through the paperwork. I’d printed off my next two shipments so I could allocate men. The bitch must have snapped pictures of them.” I shook my head.
How could I have been so stupid to leave my files around? I’d gone straight to her apartment from the plane. I hadn’t had time to fuck in Philadelphia, and I spent those two days after I got back buried in her.
“How do we contact the bitch?” Enzo grunted.
“I can call her. The last time I saw her was after my wedding. She turned up at my apartment and told me she was pregnant.” I run my hands through my hair. “I threw the bitch out. No way I believe that lying whore.”
“Contact her, we need to find out who she gave this fucking information to. Do you think she was working with someone all along?” Leo seethed.
“I don’t think so.”
I didn’t think so, she was needy towards the end. Wanted me to claim her. Maybe that triggered her to betray me? I wasn’t sure, but I sure as fuck was going to get answers.
I grabbed my phone and shot her a text.
Me:We need to talk ASAP! Call me.
Just as I slip my phone back in my pocket it starts to ring.
“Well, that was quick, bitch must love your cock.” Enzo chuckled as I send him a deathly glare.
I connect the call with Sergio.
“Sergio, is everything okay? We don’t usually update until the evening.” Then I hear a sob in the background. She was emotional in her first trimester so that gutting sound had a link to my heart. “Is that Cam? What’s going on?”
“She’s… she’s in a lot of pain, and she’s bleeding. Carlo is driving us to the hospital now. Can you meet us there?”
“Fuck, why is she bleeding?” I grunt.
I’m standing as are all the guys now. They can hear the worry in my voice. I’m the chilled one, normally, but nothing that I feel for my woman constitutes as normal for me. She fries my fucking mind.
“I thought it was my waters that had broken, but… it’s blood.” Her voice trembles as she talks to me.
“Angelo,I’m leaving the club now. How close are you?”
“Should be there in ten, boss.”
“I’ll be there before you. Have you let them know you’re coming?”
The hospital is just around the corner from here.
“Antonella did, yes,” Sergio informs me.
“Angelo,I will be waiting for you. You’re gonna be fine,” I soothe.
I don’t care if my worry makes me look weak. This woman means fucking everything to me. I didn’t think I would ever feel so protective over another. But Cam and our baby have changed that. Watching her body change as she grows our son has been fucking magnificent. Knowing it’s my son that has caused the swell to her stomach and breasts.

As the call disconnects, I address the guys. “I need to go, Cam’s bleeding. Carlo is driving Sergio and Cam to the hospital.”
“Bea’s just texted to say her and Antonella are with Lorenzo, and they are following behind Cam.” Leo slips his phone back into his pocket.
“I’ll drive.” Max grabs his bits from his office as Leo and I head toward his car.
“I’ll get someone to drop your cars at the hospital,” Enzo offers as he gets on the phone.
“I’m going to carry on looking into Jade,” says Jake. “I hope Cam is okay, Alessandro.”
