“I suppose you’re right.” His eyes were on me now, his lips together once he’d finished speaking, drawing my attention. There was something in his expression I didn’t want to look at too long. Understanding? Kindness?

Fuck that, I don’t want pity. “Anyway, maybe we should get dressed and go for a walk? I’ve barely moved since we got here and I need some exercise.”

“I thought what we just did would be workout enough for you?” His smirk and teasing eyes made my glare pointless because I broke into a smile.

“Oh, it was a workout alright, but I’m a high-energy kind of person. I’ll need a lot more exercise than that.” I teased back, giving as good as I got.

“Then maybe we should go for round two instead of a walk?” He said with a definite gleam in his eye.

“Maybe we should,” I answered, getting up to go around the table. I got down on my knees, staring into his eyes as I did so. “Maybe you should let me start things off.”

“Be my guest,” Brian’s lips spread into a wide grin, and he leaned back, giving me full access to whatever part of him I wanted.
