And yet, on the other hand, I’m having a wonderful time. Katie’s causing me to feel emotions I haven’t experienced in ages, and it feels good. A little terrifying, like riding a roller coaster with your hair on fire, but also thrilling and fulfilling, with a touch of sexy and cute thrown in. Have I gone crazy? It must be true. Yet I lean in for more, and open myself to whatever this girl may bring.

Katie

True to his word, Bruce got us tickets to the opening of a new action movie.

“Miss James, are you almost ready?” he asks as he knocks on the bathroom door.

Before I can answer, he strolls right in.

I’m standing in front of the mirror, wearing nothing but a pair of bright red panties while I do my makeup, trying to get it just right. If I’m going to meet a bunch of A-list celebrities, then I’d better look as nice as possible. I don’t want to look like a potato next to the likes of Uma Thurman and Jennifer Lawrence.

“What are you doing?” he asks, wrapping his arms around my waist. “You know I prefer you without any makeup on.”

“I know, but I can’t go to an opening night, especially one with a red carpet, with a naked face. Are you insane? Everyone will be watching, and there will be so many cameras.”

Bruce is about to reply, but then his eyes drop to my panties. He grins like a madman, blue eyes glowing with mischief. “You must have read my mind because those panties are perfect,” he says, slipping his thumb under the waistband and tugging on them.

I moan, moving to my tippy toes as the fabric digs into my sensitive folds. “Mr. Lockhart!” I exclaim. “Stop! We have to get ready.”

He chuckles. “I guess I shouldn’t tease you too badly. I wouldn’t want to ruin the movie by making you think about my cock the entire time.”

I turn, about to kiss the sexy billionaire, but suddenly, he pulls away and disappears down the hall.

Huh?

“Bruce?” I call out, peeking my head out the doorway.

He reappears holding a gorgeous red gown in his hands. “I thought you might want something to wear tonight.”

My eyes nearly bug out of my skull when I see it. Damn. Now that’s one sexy dress. I can tell it’s body-con, the kind that hugs every single curve to absolute perfection. Not only that, but there’s a scandalous slit that runs up one side, nearly reaching the panty-line. And then, to top it all off, there’s a killer neckline that dives down demurely, sassy yet still appropriate. My girls will definitely be looking good tonight.

“Let me help you with this, and then I can call in Sandra.”

I blink.

“Sandra? Who’s that?”

He grins.

“She’s my personal stylist, and she makes house calls. I thought you might want to get gussied up for the movie. Trust me, by the time Sandra’s done with you, you’ll look like you belong on the big screen yourself.” He leans forward and nips my ear. “And you’ll be the envy of every woman there. And I’ll be the envy of every man there.”

I find it hard to believe. After all, because I’m a curvier girl, guys tend to ignore me for the ‘model’ types. You know, the women who are twice as tall as me, but half my weight. It doesn’t bother me (for the most part), but I just can’t picture myself as the prettiest girl in the room.

Bruce takes the dress off of the hanger and helps me into it, carefully zipping up the back. The red fabric fits me like a glove, cupping my curves in a way that’s sensuous but not trashy. He spins me around, his blue eyes appreciative.

“You look beautiful,” he murmurs, kissing my cheek.

I blush slightly.

“Thank you,” I say quietly.

But before our connection can deepen, a woman walks in holding a blow dryer, with a belt bag full of tools hanging at her hip.

“Hi there,” she chortles. “You must be Katie. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.” She holds out her hand and flashes a cheery smile.

I shake her hand. “Hi,” I murmur shyly. The tips of my nipples are still hard from Bruce’s touch, but hopefully it’s disguised by the rhinestones on the bust of the dress. The stylist doesn’t seem to notice.

“Perfect! I’m Sandra, and I’m going to become your new best friend,” she chortles once more.

I can already tell she’s bubbly and vivacious. Meanwhile, Bruce slips out quietly with another smile at me over his shoulder, and my heart contracts. It’s like there’s a connection between us, and nothing can break it. But before I can ponder what that means, Sandra takes me by the shoulders and guides me toward the vanity. Once I’m sitting down, she unloads her supplies onto the counter. There’s the hairdryer. Brushes of all shape and size. Eye Shadow. Bronzer. Dozens of little pots in a multitude of rainbow colors, as well as what seem like twenty different make-up sponges, in all colors of the rainbow.
