Matt kissed her neck. “You said you were on the pill, didn’t you?”
“Yes.”
His hand moved to touch her core and she shuddered at the wave of desire.
“Now,” she agreed to his unasked question.
He slipped inside her, and they both sighed. She would never get tired of this. He moved slowly as he kissed her neck, murmuring her name over and over. His fingers caressed her breasts as if they were fragile and precious and she arched into him, the desire building. “Faster,” she whispered.
He kissed the side of her mouth. “Don’t be so impatient. I like taking my time with you.”
His words aroused her further and she moaned in protest, but he kept up the slow, sweet torture as he moved inside her and covered her neck and face in kisses. She was drowning in sensation.
“We’ll have to go back to your place tonight,” he said. “There are so many things I want to do with you and this bed isn’t big enough.” His pace increased slightly and she tilted her hips, wanting more.
He groaned as she encircled her legs around him, and thrust.
“More, Matt,” she begged. “I need more.”
“Georgie.” He shifted and his thrusts were deeper, faster, stronger.
“Yes.” She gripped the sheets as her orgasm washed over her like waves on a shore, over and over and over. Matt thrust faster and then he shouted her name and slid down on top of her, still part of her. He kissed her neck as he whispered, “I love you.”
Georgie bit her lip as she squeezed him against her, not wanting this moment to end. “I love you more.”
He chuckled. “Not possible.” He shifted off her and sat to clean up. Georgie joined him, not ready to be so far away.
“What time is it?” he asked.
She glanced at her phone and her eyes widened. “Nine.” She hadn’t slept this late in a long time, but they hadn’t got to sleep until the early hours of the morning.
“I’m surprised Lara hasn’t woken us,” Matt commented.
That’s right. They were going through the journals again today. “Maybe they started without us.”
Quickly they showered and dressed before heading over to the house for breakfast. Everyone sat at the kitchen table and there was the strong scent of bacon and coffee. Lara glanced at them. “Finally! I didn’t think you would ever wake.”
Georgie swallowed her smile. “We’ve been working hard.”
Brandon snorted.
“Why didn’t you wake us?” Matt asked.
“Dad wouldn’t let me,” Lara said. “Said you needed rest.”
Georgie was by the coffee machine. She mouthedthank youat Darcy while Lara spoke with Matt. He nodded with a smirk.
“So what’s the plan for the day?” Georgie poured two coffees and gave one to Matt.
“We need to share our notes,” Faith said. “You haven’t been around to hear our theories, and Matt hasn’t told us what he’s found.”
Georgie glanced at Matt. “You’ve found something?” She hadn’t known he was still involved. She’d thought it was just Lara and Faith who were searching.
“Amy made me a copy the other day. I’ve been going through the Dutch journal.”
“It can’t be too far from the house,” Faith insisted. “It would have been difficult to carry.”
“They split the treasure with the other two Fenians,” Darcy reminded her. “It might not have been a lot at all.”
